Welcome to another Discussion of the Week!! 😃
As from this week the new series of stories started - 'Serial Killer Stories'... why not lets discuss something about this only!
Wikipedia says " A serial killer is a person who murders usually three or more people over a period of more than 30 days with a "cooling off" period between each murder, whose motivation for killing is largely based on psychological gratification. There is often a sexual element to the murders. The murders may have been attempted or completed in a similar fashion and the victims may have had something in common, for example occupation, race, appearance or gender.
Coinage of the term serial killer is commonly attributed to former FBI Special Agent Robert Ressler in the 1970s. Serial killer entered the popular vernacular largely due to the widely publicized crimes of Ted Bundy and David Berkowitz in the middle years of that decade."
But in CID... the very first story wasnt anything much of serial killing... it was a planned murder of just one dude and the other killings were done so as to show the real murder as a part of the serial killing..
This week I really liked the planning part for it was nicely done... I have recently been alot into activities of the forensic and CID and stuff... so I know what they did was nearly very right.
Codes and document analysis is a very important part of Forensic science and its probably the most widely used as well and till date atleast our CID showed very restricted of it but last episode they made sure to give the message clearly!...
Anyways, Enough of me and my lectures... I am sure you all also got a lot to pour in on the topic... so this week we will just have a general discussion on Serial Killings and Serial Killers... 😆
