Deepika's special item number for Saif's banner?

With Saif's home banner production, LOVE AAJ KAL, directed by Imtiaz Ali, nearing completion, the necessary commercial pepperings are being added. If sources are to be believed, the item number bug seems to have bitten the first time producer, the 'Chhote Nawab' Saif Ali Khan.


Yes, there are talks in progress of a very special dance number performed by none other than the lead heroine of the film, Deepika Padukone. This is quite a departure from the usual trend of bringing in another specialized/top actress for the purpose. And why not, when they have the most promising and happening newcomer whose last item number, ''Love Mera Hit Hit'', in BILLU proved to be chartbusting success, unlike the movie. Definitely, it will be a double bonanza for the audience to see Deepika as the lead actress, performing a sizzling, hot-shot (item) number, as she has proved many a times that she is a wonderful dancer.

However, we are curious to know why the in-house top actress, Kareena Kapoor (Saif's girlfriend and Imtiaz's JAB WE MET lucky mascot), who excels in such dance numbers has not been asked to add the novelty value!

Love mera hit hit video was BAD..i didn't expected to be such bad video. I hated her dress, choreopgraphy was horrible. Kareena and Priyanka item number was 10 times better😆Even her chemistry with Srk was missing(and yes i am judging this through item song).

being frank.. i was quite disappointed after seeing her item number in billu...her outfits were extremely revealing but thats not sumfin to complain abt as many actresses do that but da worst part was the camera angles which were focusing on her assets a bit too much..that gave a very tacky look to the entire song..i hope shez careful dis time as shez a good dancer n thats something which shuld be focused on ...not closeups of her body parts...

I'm a huge fan of deepika, kareena, priyanka so I can never compared their item numbers because it's very different from each other. I loved all the songs.

It should be great - definitely going to book my ticket for this one.
