Where did you see the extra neurons? Are you talking about the black device? That's an electic device to pass currents into this guy's head.

As far as the occasion- I think it's better to subject them to treatment in the morning everyday before they start shooting. Hopefully the treatment is effective until they pack up or else a couple of shocks can be given in between too.
