By now it's a known fact that much popular 'Sexy Mama' number from the film 13B will henceforth be known as 'Crazy Mama'. Ok, so the change pertains only to the version which has been floated to the satellite channels while in theaters it will continue as 'Sexy Mama'. She was in the US when this news reached her. Baffled she called up folks in India only to be informed that it was due to a proposal by the Censor board as per which the lyrics of the song had to change if it had to play during prime time television.
''I was shocked when I heard that'', says Anushka from US where she has visited Florida and New York for a mix of professional and personal reasons, ''I had a lot of fun singing it and it's a pity that the song hasn't remained the same as it was recorded.''
She goes on to state that in fact she is quite fond of the word 'Sexy' in real life. ''I pray to Gods and hope that my kids will call me sexy when I am older. Seriously. People should stop getting hung up on stupid issues with their moral policing and focus on stuff that's important like voting and global warming. But nahi, hum aisa kuch nahi karenge. All we will do is pick on songs and dialogues and butcher them.''
