I know Im tangenting away from the main discussion but Mel, In the debate section there was a debate posed from a Pakistan based IF member who was wondering how reflective this was of Indian culture , I mean Ekta's serials. It's so funny how realy different real life in India is different from Ekta's serials and we love to watch it still.

actually one thing i have never understood is the fact tt she portrays all her female characters like they are the epitome of saints..despite tt all end up getting married at least 2 times under the strangest circumstances 😕
Her serials are so not reflective of the indian culture 😆 infact i think the values are the opposite to whatever values we have learnt...
yep we still watch them despite their absurdity, maybe tts why Ekta's keeps churning out more of her crappy storylines, cos she knows ppl still would watch them 😕
