Mumbai: If all goes well, Shah Rukh Khan is probably going to host the boldest show on Indian television. If sources are to be believed, Star Plus has approached Shahrukh Khan to host the Indian version of The Moment of Truth.
Besides SRK, the show also needs a special mention for the kind of bold treatment it has in its original format. If the show retains its original format, it would definitely create a stir among Indian audiences.
In this American game show based on the Colombian Nada Ms Que La Verdad format ('Nothing More than the Truth'), contestants have to answer a series of 21 increasingly personal and embarrassing questions to receive big cash prizes.
Says a source, "SRK has been approached and Star is hopeful that he will be giving his nod to the show."
When we contacted Anupama Mandloi, Senior Creative Director of Star Plus about the adaptation of The Moment of Truth, she remained tight-lipped. "Is it really? Nothing as yet," she says. Now, whoever said the truth is out there!

The Moment of Truth premiered on January 23, 2008. Prior to the show, a contestant is hooked up to a polygraph and asked more than 50 questions; there is no polygraph testing conducted during the actual show.
