On the sets of the film Pyare Mohan, Esha Deol slapped actress Amrita Rao and then proudly gave interviews where she not only confirmed the incident, but also sounded unapologetic, whereas Amrita didn't say a word. By telling all and sundry that she slapped Amrita, Esha just portrayed herself to be a publicity monger hoping to get her movie talked about. She also seems to want everybody to remember that she is garam Dharam's daughter. Amrita, on the other hand, is coming across as dignified by keeping mum.

Socialite Sheetal Mafatlal allegedly called her sister-in-law a rag picker after the latter visited their flat in London. And Sheetal's husband Atulya has been very rude about his siblings in print. The Mafatlals' public display of everything, but affection has given the media great copy. Everyone is merrily reporting juicy details like how Sheetal stole Atulya from her own sister and the rest of society is gossiping about how the Mafatlals' may not be as rich as they would like everyone to believe they are.

By resorting to shouting, screaming, or worse getting violent in public, you are only making a fool of yourself. Apart from providing some gossip and entertainment to the people around, you are not achieving much. Even poor Viviek Oberoi looked like a fool after holding a press conference where he accused Salman Khan of threatening him. End result? The whole of Bollywood turned against him for getting the press involved in a private matter. Worse his girlfriend Aishwarya, for whom he did all this for never publicly acknowledged his presence.

Just because you are famous, doesn't mean the whole world knows about your issues and squabbles. Take a leaf out of Akshay Kumar's book. He has never said anything about all the exes who have abused him in print. Another one who never takes the bait is Sonia Gandhi.
