From the beginning of the show, we have been shown how closely this is related to the Ramayan. We even have the characters themselves pronouncing they are Ravan, or Laxman, or Bharat. So, welcome to the new twisted Ramayan, where Ram is with Ravan, and is working to hurt Sita, Laxman, and all the rest of his family.
I mean, this is the biggest insult they could have given to religion. If they were planning a track like this, why did the dialogue writer put in dialogues from Heer basically challenging God to prove he exists by bringing Prem to her (at the shaadi ka mandap)?!?!? So, now that he proclaims he is not Prem, what about Heer and Preet's faith in God? Didn't Preet say that his faith in God would be broken, if it did not turn out to be his Prem Bhaiya?
Also, they have always had a bg music of Jai Shri Ram with Prem, so what does mean now? I've always been disgusted by the way BT plays with religion, and religious shloks, but this is the limit.
