Sandhya the elder daughter in law of Venketesh' family along with the contribution of the family members take a decision to get Balaji's second brother Vivek married to a middle class girl called Madhavi who they see and fix later realizing that she will be the apt person for Vivek. The third brother Arun has already been spoken to get married to Sandhya's younger sister Viji. They decide to conduct both the marriages together.

Meanwhile Gayathri Vivek's boss's daughter who is in love with him but has not disclosed her love so far, gets shocked hearing about this and tries to commit suicide and her father stops her and later she confesses to her father Chakrabani about her love for Vivek. Chakrabani immediately decides to talk to Vivek about it and Vivek tells him that unfortunately he wasn't aware of Gayathri's love as they were very good friends only and that now since his betrothal is almost fixed he cant take any decision and that they would have to only talk to his family about it. Chakrabani immediately decides to do so.

Madhavi on the other hand along with Sandhya's sister Viji has been invited by Sandhya to their house to select their wedding saris and jewels. Madhavi is very excited about her wedding and goes around showing off Vivek's photo to her friends saying that she is getting married in a well off family and that everyone loves her very much there. Her friends envy her future.

The next day Chakrabani along with Gayathri comes to Venketesh's family and discloses the matter and asks for Vivek to marry his daughter. The family is taken aback. Gayathri takes Sandhya separately and begs her telling her that she has attempted suicide and without Vivek she cannot live. While the family members are dumbstruck not knowing what to do, Sandhya asks Chakrabani to give them sometime and that she will come up with a good solution for the matter.

The next day Sandhya requests Balaji to accompany her to Madhavi's house. Sandhya tells the matter to Madhavis' house and conveys her decision of getting Vivek married to Gayathri and when the family is shocked and they talk about Madhavi's future, she tells them that whatever set and done Madhavi is definitely the daughter in law of their family and that she plans to get Madhavi married to Arun. Hearing this Madhavi and her family are flabbergasted along with Balaji. She tells them to think about it and tell her a favorable reply. Madhavi's mother tries to convince her about getting married to Arun but Madhavi being strong willed girl denies it and tells her mother that tomorrow if a situation arises that Arun too is in love with someone else then the family might throw her out of the house and she does like to be treated like a bouncing ball. Madhavi's friends make fun of Madhavi telling her that all rich family treats middle class girls this way and that if she did have to marry Arun she will be only treated like a slave in that house as Sandhya will always have an upper hand in that family. Hearing this Madhavi develops a dislike and vengeance towards Sandhya as she was the deciding authority and the sole responsible person for this confusion. Madhavi decides to get married to Arun and enter into that family and break everyone's respect for Sandhya and send her to the streets and embarrass her the same way she was embarrassed and to create a dislike for Sandhya amongst the family members and to separate her away from that family.

Sandhya's mother in law is astonished hearing Sandhya's decision of getting Vivek and Gayathri married and to get Madhavi and Arun married, as she has always had a soft corner for Viji, a little bit more than Sandhya. Everyone else agrees for Sandhya's decision knowing that it is the best for the family except for Sharadha. She tries to convince the family members saying that she want Viji as her last daughter in law, but all in vain. Knowing that no matter what she does this wedding will take place, Sharadha tales a hasty decision of leaving the house and going away to an old age home. When everyone in the family convinces her to come back she tells them that until and unless everyone decides to get Viji married to Arun she will never come back into that house and she also shows a strong hatred towards Sandhya as she is the main cause for all this confusion. Hearing this Viji also dislikes Sandhya.

Four women lives are at stake, Gayathri, Madhavi, Viji and Sandhya. What is Sandhya going to do now?

How is she going to set things back to normal in her family again?

Will she win back the love of her mother in law?

Who gets married to whom now?

Segment A

Gayathri tells her father that Sharadha has gone to the old age home and he consoles her telling all will be well soon. All talk in Venketesh family about Sharadha being there and that something must be done soon.

Segment B

Moorthy tells about Sharadha being in the old age home and Viji leaves immediate to see Sharadha. Viji sees Sharadha and requests her to go back but Sharadha tells her that unless they accept Viji as Arun's wife she will not go.

Segment C

Madhavi gives her mother the bank receipt book after she deposited the money on her brother and mother's names and tells them that she will never let them down. Divya sees a car window and adjusts her hair and Muthupandi and Vikram get down from the same car and she gets shocked.

Segment A

Sandhya tells Balaji that somehow Sharadha must be convinced and brought back as this is not good for the family. She also justifies why Madhavi has to come to the house as the daughter in law and not Viji by saying that Venketesh has given the word to Madhavi.

Segment B

Muthupandi's sons, Sunil and Vikram both tell Muthupandi that they are there to take fort for their father. When Nateshan gets ready to go out Moorthy irritates him by asking him where and why he's going out and he gets irritated and scolds him and goes out.

Segment C

Rowdies disturb and eve teases Divya while she's on the way to the college and Sunil comes that way and shoos them away and stops Divya from crying and takes her with him on the bike. Sandhya requests Venketesh to go see Sharadha and bring her back to the house. All are tensed whether he will go or not.

Segment A

Moorthy sees Nateshan taking a lot of money and coming out of the ATM and when e asks Nateshan about the money he scolds him and goes away. Madhavi's mother tells Madhavi to pray to God that her marriage with Arun must happen very smoothly.

Segment B

Sunil informs his father about the love that Divya has for him. Gayathri asks her father if he has fixed the date for their wedding. Vikram murders a person who was disturbing his father and Muthupandi tells his men to dispose the body.

Segment C

Venketesh asks Sharadha to come home from the old age home but she tells that she will only come if Viji marries Arun and he scolds her and tells her that she need not come home at all in that case and that Madhavi and Arun's wedding will definitely happen. When Venketesh comes home all ask him about what happened there and he does not know what to tell them.
