So all of a sudden, Shree learned to curl her hair and do it in a western style, and put on matching makeup??

And a girl from the village? That kind of dress would make her feel naked, bare neck and shoulders??

SOoooooo unrealistic.

What's it with guys and making their gals wear weird things? Only in Indian movies. Always a western outfit.

I could not see hte scene...but your observation is quite funny. May be Shree wearig that gown can be accepted because her husband Hari asked her to wear it and that too, in private not in front of everyone. But agree with the hair colouring and matching make-up part 😆......may be they should have kept her hair open like she always does and it should have been without any additional make-up. But you have to agree...she did look beautifull in it.
