Ek Safar Aisa… Kabhi Socha Na Tha debuts on Sony

Ek Safar Aisa… Kabhi Socha Na Tha is the first fiction launch of the year on Sony Entertainment Television. Starting February 9, Monday to Thursday at 9.30 pm, it is a unique love story of a young girl whose quite and simple life changes into a roller coaster ride filled with suspense, thrill and mystery.

Young Ganga sells flowers outside the Shiva temple to fend for herself and her two little siblings. Life for Ganga has never been easy, especially when it came to earning her daily living. But Ganga is not bogged down by the hurdles she has to face in life… she believes that Lord Shiva will guide and show her the way.

It's a typical day in Ganga's life… she is seated by the bank of the river, a routine with her, when to her horror she sees someone floating in the water and she saves the person. Despite facing the wrath of the villagers she gets the stranger home. It is then that she realizes that he has lost his memory… and does not remember his identity and his very existence. Soon Ganga gets to know that the stranger is Manav, a millionaire, who now refuses to acknowledge he is Manav and any relationship, except that of Ganga, whom he sees as his saviour.

Under strange and extenuating circumstances Ganga gets married to Manav. Her only interest in life now is to help Manav find his identity, his past… but is ignorant that in doing so she will unravel dark secrets from his past. This ofcourse will compel her to loose the present to Manav's past.

In the situation that she finds herself, Ganga is completely confused between trusting her husband, who claims that he is not Manav and his family, who have all the proof that he is Manav Rathore, the millionaire. Will Manav recollect his past? Will that affect his present? What is that unspoken secret about Manav in the family?

Ek Safar Aisa… Kabhi Socha Na Tha is about how sometimes you don't choose life but life chooses you… from a simple flower seller to the wife of a millionaire Ganga sees the world change around her. But inspite of a loving husband and a huge family to live with Ganga is surrounded by suspense, mystery and dark secrets. Will she succeed in helping Manav get back his memory? Will she ever unravel the mystery that surrounds Manav's dark past?

Ek Safar Aisa… Kabhi Socha Na Tha is produced by Sunrise Telefilms and Rashmi Sharma, directed by Pawan Kumar and written by Virendra Shahaney. The star cast includes Pankaj Dheer, Rinku Ghosh, Madhvi Gokte, Kuldeep Mallik, Neelu Kohli, Tapasvi and Jaishree Soni & Maninder in the lead role.

A person takes his car right up to the cliff and crashes it down in the valley with a thud.

Ganga is introduced as the sole bread winner and parent to her siblings. She makes a living selling flowers at the Shiv remple in Haridwar. Ganga is given an ultimatum by the house owner Girdhari Lal to either vacate the house in a week's time or pay up the debt.

On the other hand, Madan, the lecherous son of Girdhari, plays foul with her on her way to the ghat. By the time Ganga reaches there, she is all messed up, just when she is removing her hand from the water she senses a touch of another hand…Ganga is alarmed and shouts to seek help and the face of the man who has committed suicide is revealed.
