John picks bikes over girlfriends

Actor John Abraham loves his bikes and we all know that, but he revealed the true extent of his passion for the machines while flagging off a biking competition in Mumbai. And it looks like Bipasha Basu may have some serious competition.

"A bike is like a girlfriend or a wife or may be more precious than that," quipped John.

Flagging off a biking competition to find out the most passionate biker in the country, John shared with us his first experience with a two-wheeler.

"I rode a bike for the first time when I was in class VI. I borrowed my Gujju neighbour's Bajaj Chetak," John revealed.

But his love for bikes did come with a heavy price.

"I had an accident two years back. The only thing that saved me was my helmet but I was wearing sneakers that day so the keg went through my feet," John said.
