Exclusive: Ranbir and Imran coming together

It is learnt from reliable sources that Shimit Amin's next will bring together the younger generation's latest heart throbs Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan.

The film will be Shimit's next with Yash Raj Films after his immensely successful and acclaimed Chak De India.

For quiet a long time both Imran and Ranbir wanted to be cast together and had been dropping such hints in their various interviews to the media.

They also got on well with each other and had been searching for scripts and directors who would take them on both.

It is learnt that since the past few months the duo had been meeting up big Bollywood filmmakers such as Subhash Ghai, Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt, Vipul Shah as well as their own respective directors that they have worked with for doing a film starring them together but they were not meeting with a favourable response, perhaps because of the on going recession. But finally Yash Raj has managed to get them together.

btw shimit next fil is with ranbir rocket singh but there's no imran in it...!

That's rude. 😵 Just to let you know, Imran worked on a CRAPPY script in a movie called 'Kidnap'. Which did Ranbir work in? NONE. Saawariya & BAH were both great movies. But again, not many people understand that, and its just my opinion. Atleast I'm not close to bashing.

Saawariya deff. wouldn't be called a movie with a "crappy script." Not that any of this has anything to do with script. It was a small article suggesting they would come together. And Kidnap had crappy lines. Did you watch it? I don't think you should mention it without watching it. Of course, if you watched it, you would see it yourself.

That was accusingly rude to Ranbir. Keep in mind there are both Ranbir and Imran fans here.

*relating to the article itself: i can't wait for it, i'm not a huge fan of either actor but i think it'll deff. be interesting! :)
