ahh, i think thats a bit too much to be fair, Shonali should remain in her limits rather then pop in and out Vickys room as she pleases esp when hes not ur hubby or watever and he wasnt dressed in an appropriate manner anyway..

Henna this is rich society...anything goes...girls walking in out of boys room. Girlfriends walking into hubby's room while wife is there. Wife letting hubby walk, dance, mingle around with girlfriend...nothing new.

The NRI's are always painted with low values...u know girls go to college half naked and like to have fun with boys.

Oh this is the first time have seen you mad 😆...anyhow NRI repersentation in films/shows has always annoyed me they take a handful and generalise.
Vicky/Shonali thing goes i guess being a show i might be a bit biased though i actually like shonalis character nad her/vicky are kind of cute

yup i find it to be such a huge issue when ppl think NRIs have NO values at all.. im like you wat?! argh! stupid media.. Even if they show the UK on the news - always a bunch of ppl who are acting like right eye-diots!
Then people harp on about sanskar and stuff.. well, where did it go? I dont mind Vicky shonali if they got together but at the moment shonali is a guest, she should act like one, shes not a bahu yet so keep it in check woman.. anything happens shes messed up her life really.. (wow i feel like my mum 😆)

Okay, this might sound weird but is this the same sonali as in the beggining of the show? The actress 'friend' of JW. And if it''s not, doesnt Bani or Jai have a problem with name because I know for sure that I would. Or am I weird?
And the thing about the mindset about NRI's is true. People think that girls living not in India (and in my case not in south America, my aunts and uncles live there and my parent's were born there) have no character and loose morals and all when It's not true!!!! In a lot of cases they are raised more traditionally as their parents raise them the way they were raised gack home and are trying to protect their heritage in a foreign country. but that doesnt mean that it;s a backward or old fashioned tradition.

Renu

Ow, another thing, In our family it's tradition that shaadi se pehle larki sasural nahin jaati hai (although lots of families dont really keep this rule anymore, but my family still does as it is supposed to be an apshagun, unless there is no other way out or you have been there before the rishta was fixed) I thought it was also like this in India? Am I right or wrong cos serials me to 24 ghante wahi pare rehte hai.

Renu in India now, the girls do go to sasural after engagements. It's only us out of India who still try to stick so many of the old traditions.

And I would like people to know that abroad an abortion does not cost rupees 100 and there and anyone going for one would have to get it set up through a doctor and would probably have to answer a lot of questions before getting one.

yup stereotypical, over here we're keeping to tradtions too. When we called 'back home' they were like why do that? skip to the wedding.. i was shocked beyond belief and they say WE (mainly me) have no traditions in us.. pshh

I wish NRIs were shown in the correct light. Not all of us are brats, you only get the few handful, plus they act like their country doesnt have spoilt kids.. ha! *sarcastic laugh*
