Dimpled Bollywood cutie Preity Zinta celebrated her 34th birthday this past Saturday and she celebrated by adopting 34 kids! Preity adopted 34 orphaned girls from the Mother Miracle School in Hrishikesh. While she may not be taking the girls home to live with her, as their guardian she will take care of their finances for basic needs for things like food, clothing and education. Now that's definitely something she should be very proud of! Preity says she plans to adopt more girls every year. Now that's a cause we can get behind. What a great way to celebrate your birthday!
She also made her thoughts on her home city of Mumbai well known. It seems after watching 'Slumdog Millionaire,' Miss Zinta realized the state of the city and wants to clean up the slums that plague the city. We agree Preity, that's a noble cause!
That's not the only way she celebrated though! The vivacious actress also held a blowout birthday bash at her pad on Saturday night. No doubt her handsome boyfriend Ness Wadia was also on hand. But it seems things weren't all hunky dory! It seems the partygoers were interrupted by an unwanted visit from the cops! Seems like her neighbors complained about the loud music in the wee hours of the night. Come on people, a girl only turns 34 once! Hmm… this scenario does sound awfully familiar though, as one of her close pals Hrithik Roshan just went through the same thing at his birthday bash in January! Guess the two are good friends for a reason – they both know how to party like rockstars, or shall we say, Bollywood stars! Well either way, the party was a well deserved break for the hard working gal who has a heart of gold!
