Continues from yesterday. Kannan and Rajalakshmi tell Chandra to dismiss Ranjini as she is too smart. They say it must be her idea to send Rajalakshmi(RL) to jail. RL tells Chandra to think carefully because since Ranjini joined them, problems have cropped up and looks like her empire is shaken. Chandra laughs and tells her mother no one can shake or topple her empire. She then tells her mother to mind her own business and not to poke her nose where it is not wanted and leaves. RL complains to her brother about Chandra's words. Kannan says he cannot say anything because Chandra might chase him out of the house if he does and walks of.

Ranjini is surrounded by the entire office staff. Ranjini is holding a CD and asks the employees who has done the crime and to own up. she warns them if the culprit does not own up and is caught by her, he or she will not only lose their job but will be sent to jail as well. Chandra arrives and asks what is going on. Ranjini says someone had copied their company dealers' names and address on to a CD and left it in the file room. The office boy had found it and gave it to her and upon checking saw that it had all their dealers' information. Chandra too shouts at all the employees. Ranjini looks at the CD again and then tell all of them to go back to their seat and for the culprit to come forward. Chandra asks why Ranjini is letting go of the matter so easily. Ranjini takes Chandra to her office and once inside, calls Dotty and tells her to ask the accountant, Masilamani to come in.

Masilamani comes in and Ranjini asks why he did it. She tells him she saw the sandalwood paste ont he CD and knew immediately it was him. Masilamani owns up and says his grand daughter has heart problem and needs surgery and the cost is $1 lakh. He did not know how to get the funds and had resort to this deed. After copying, he felt bad and had thrown the CD in the file room where it was found. He tells Chandra and Ranjini that he will accept any punishment meted to him. Ranjini tells the Masilamani to go ahead and fix date for the surgery and the companywill pay the costs. Chandra asks Ranjini what she is doing. Ranjini says if she does'nt have the authority to even do this, then there is no point being a staff there. She tells Chandra that when Masilamani realized his mistake and owned up to it, he has already suffered humiliation. Ranjini says that is enough punishment. Chandra justs stares at Ranjini and walks away. Ranjini tells her self that it is her mother's money and only she has the right to do what she wants with it.

Uma is working and looks like she had a headache. Karthik walks in and sit at his cubicle and looks at Uma who seems t be in pain. Karthik calls the office boy and tells him to bring drinks. The office boy brings coffee and a painkiller and gives Uma. Uma takes it and tells him she had wanted to call him and wants to pay or the tablet and drinks but is told Karthik paid for it. Uma looks at Karthik and thanks him. Karthik gets a call and the MD tells him to come in with Uma. Both enter and MD tells them to go to Coimbatore to get some orders. MD tells Uma to follow Karthik because the owner of the company is a lady and it would be easier to close the deal. Uma and Karthik agree and leave.

A lady is doing prayers, her husband, Rajadevan dressed in white and white is in the living signing some checks. Under his feet is another man. Rajadevan has his feet on the man's face and is crushing him. After he signs the check, he tells the men to leave and take the guy at his feet with them. After the men leave, his wife, Latha brings a check to him and asks him to sign. Rajadevan signs witout asking any questions. Latha tells him that she wants to donate some money to the temple about $2000. Rajadevan tells her to give $20,000 instead. Latha is surprised and asks why. Devan tells her that it is for the temple and will somehow pay for the sins he is doing. Latha asks her husband why earn a living by committing sins. Rajadevan tells his wife not to question him because he will not listen to anyone, even God. Screen freezes with Ranjini on the left, Devan in the middle and Chandra on the right. THODARUM.

Rajadevan, his son Vinod, the land broker and landowner Govardan are discussing the cost of land. Govardhan says he is asking 3.5 crores but would accept 3.3 crores and not anything lesser. While discussing Chandramathi's car arrives and Kannan gets out first. Sees Rajadevan and is shocked and stops. Chandramathi is next, she too is shocked to see Rajadevan and vice versa. They all stand there staring at each other. Ranjini gets down and is confused to see the staring ocmpetition. Chandramathi tells the landowner she will buy the land and for the owner to see her the next day at her house and get the money. Rajadevan tells Govardan he came first and likes the land and pays the deposit and tells he will pay the rest on Monday when at the registration. Chandramathi gets angry and leaves. Govind asks his father why the lady came there and shouted at him and left and why he did not do anything. Rajadevan says it is a long story and will tell him when the time comes. Chandramathi and gang travelling back in their car in silence and so is Devarajan in his car.

Rajagopal is talking to a man who gives him money to get a job for his son. Rajagopal promises a good job at Chandramathi's company as his daughter has a very important position in the company. The man is very happy and asks if he should speak with Ranjini but Rajagopal tells him no need as he will take care of everything. The man leaves. Aishwarya sees Rajagopal and goes to him and tells about her love for Karthik. She tells him that Karthik does not want her and asks for Rajagopal's help in making Karthik understand her love. Rajagopal is very happy to hear this and promises to help her. Aishwarya is very happy to hear this and leaves. Rajagopal is all smiles.

Chandra goes home screaming for her mother. Both Kannan and Ranjini follow in silence. Rajalakshmi comes out and asks what is wrong. Chandra tells her mother she saw Rajadevan after so many years. Rajalakshmi is shocked to hear this. At the same time Rajadevan tells his wife about his meeting with Chandramathi. He promises his wife that he will take revenge on Chandramathi for destroying his family. On Chandra's front, Chandra tells her mother, Rajadevan's death is in her hands. Ranjini asks what is the relationship between her and Rajadevan. Rajalakhsmi rudely tells Ranjini this is her family affair and for her not to interfere. Chandra tells her mother not to be rude to Ranjini. Ranjini apologizes and leaves. Both Chandra and Rajadevan promising to destroy the other. THODARUM.
