Rekha is in deep thoughts. Radha calls and asks her what is wrong. Rekha tells her that Kasthuri is not like before. Since Thiru came, Kasthuri has been very distant and has not come to the office as usual. She has also told them not to go to the house with work. Radha says there is nothing wrong with that. Rekha says Kasthuri is too attached with Thiru's daughter Kavya. Radha tells Rekha to forget about it as Kasthuri will deal with her problems.

Kasthuri and Thiru look for Kavya everywhere. They ask Kavya's classmates. Finally they go to the police station and lodge a complaint. While at the police station, the inspector receives a call about a girl found unconsious on the road and taken to the hospital by one of the women police.

Thiru and Kasthuri rush to the hospital and find Kavya in bed being examined by the doctor. The doctor tells Thiru to make preparations about the heart transplant for Kavya and she is getting serious. He also tells Thiru that Kavya needs to be in the hospital for the day for observations. Thiru and Kasthuri sit by Kavya sadly.

Jothi goes to Radha's house. The maid is feeding Santosh and Jothi goes to him and wants to hug him. Santosh pushes her hand away. Jothi is sad because Santosh does not want to come to her. Radha arrives and Jothi shows the photo to her and tells her that Kasthuri married Thiru in Singapore secretly. Radha says Kasthuri will never do that without informning then. Jothi says that was what she thought but now the photo is proof. Radha then asks why Jothi is so bothered about this. She asks if Jothi wants Kashturi to accept Ram. Jothi denies that and says that she only wants Ram and Rekha to get together. Radha says then why worry about who Kasthuri is married to. Jothi then brings up the issue about her wealth. She also cries that Santosh does not even know her. Radha tells Jothi to calm down and tells her that everything will be alright. She tells Jothi she will talk to Rekha about this.

Kasthuri is with Kavya at hte hospital and feeds her some juice. Kavya later tells Kasthuri about the 'uncle' who came to help her and took the photo away. Kasthuri asks who the uncle is and Kavya tells her he came in a white car and pretended to help her, then took the photo and drove off and it was while running after the car she fainted. Kasthuri thinks. THODARUM.

Kasthuri ont he phone telling the other party she will send the agreement in an hours as there are some changes needd. Rekha enters and asked why Kasthuri changed the agreement prepared by her. Kasthuri says there were some mistakes and she had to change it. Rekha asks what is wrong it. Kasthuri says with the agreement Rekha prepares, there would be problems when it comes to payment. Rekha gets angry and says that Kasthuri had given her the responsibility and left. Kasthuri says she had to leave on an important matter and does not want to talk about it right now. Rekha says if she wants changes, she should have told her and not another staff who isnow looking at her like she does not know her job. Kasthuri says why Rekha is getting angry as they are all a team. Kasthuri says there is no place for ego. She tells Kasthuri that when she was managing her company, only key people should be decision makers and not everyone. If everyone starts to decide, the company would fold.

Kasthuri asks Rekha why she is talking like that as though she does not know how hard she has worked to bring up the company. Rekha says she is not willing to continue with the project if Kasthuri does not turst her. Kasthuri says she trust Rekha and wants her to carry on with the project even if it is a loss. Rekha gets mad and asks if Kasthuri thinks by Rekha continuing with the project the company will face losses. Kasthuri explains it was just a matter of speech. Rekha also wants Kasthuri to dismiss Pavitra for being rude to her or at least suspend her. Kasthuri refuses saying that Pavitra is a good employee and she cannot do that. Rekha leaves saying she needs two days off. Kasthuri is sad at the turn of events.

Bharath as usual reading magazine, Mangai enters the room. Thunder and lightning strike and Mangai says it looks like its going to rain. Bharath says it does look like it. Mangai tells Bharath to adjust as they don't have a bed. Bharath tells her it is ok . Mangai tells him that her mother has ordered for bed set. Bharath again tells her it is ok and for her mother not to worry about it. Mangai goes out to bring milk. Bharath gets up and starts thinking. THODARUM

This has to be the shortest update ever in this serial.

Continues from yesterday. Bharath in the room thinking. Mangai comes in and locks the door and sits by her husband. It starts to rain heavily.

Bharath turns to Mangai and tells her that he was already married before. Mangai is shocked. Bharath then narrates the entire tale about his friend, Rajaram and Kaveri who he married and how possessive she was and commited suicide.

After the narration, Bharath explains to Mangai this was the reason that he had been hesitant in consumating their marriage. He tells Mangai it is up to her to decide whether to accept him as her husband or not. Mangai tells him this is all fated and God's will, and tells him she accepts him. THODARUM.

Radha tells Rekha to stop working with Kasthuri. Radha says she is confident that Kasthuri changed now and not like before. She feels that Kasthuri is not very occupied with Thiru and his daughter. She tells Rekha that it is not the staff that insulted her but Kasthuri because Kasthuri knows Rekha's background and had treated her badly. Rekha tells her mother if such thing happens again she will leave . She feels Kasthuri is confused and is preoccupied.

Magai playing in the rain. Her mother asks her to come in but Mangai keeps playing. she tells her mother she is very happy and thankful to the rain because the rain had united her with her husband. Bharath to comes out and asks why she is playing in the rain. He tells her to come in as she will catch cold but Mangai just smiles. Bharath tells his MIL to call Mangai in but MIL also smiles and leaves. Both Mangai and Bharath look at each other.

Rekha goes to the office and is greeted by everyone. Rekha passes Pavitra's seat, both stare at each other for a few minutes. Pavitra goes into Rekha's room and starts insulting her. Rekha keeps quiet at first but Pavitra gets extreme. Rekha gets up and raises her hand but Pavitra catches Rekha's hand and start to twist. Rekha tells her to let go but Pavitra doesn't. Everyone in the office hears the noise. Kasthuri too hears it and goes to Rekha' s room and tells them to stop behaving like kids. Rekha tells Kasthuri it was Pavitra who entered her room and started everything. Kasthuri tells Pavitra to go to her desk and Rekha to come to her room. Once inside Rekha tells Kasthuri that she should have found out who was at fault before coming to conclusions. Rekha says she feels she should not be working with Kasthuri because of their conflicting decisions. Kasthuri tells Rekha not to think like that as she is of the same rank as herself and Rekha should think of the company as hers. Rekha says if this is her company, girls like Pavitra would not be employed there. Kasthuri tells Rekha not to get into fights with staff who work under them. Rekha tells Kasthuri that she studied MBA and came to the business but Kasthuri is not like that as she just came into the business scene and that is why she does not understand the workings of the business and leaves. Kasthuri just looks at Rekha sadly and sits down thinking back Rekha's words.

Bharath is walking when the two creditors stop him and ask him when he will return their money. Bharath tells them he will arrange repayment soon. The men tell Bharath they have been waiting too long and want the money back soon and leave.

Thiru is talking to someone over the phone about some business. Kasthuri is upstairs talking to some builders about a contract to build living quarters for her employees. Kavya comes upstairs and tells Kasthuri she is having breathing problems. Kasthuri is worried and looks at Kavya. THODARUM.

Kavya tells Kasthuri she was having breathing problems and now is alright. She says it is 3 days holiday and bored. She wants Kasthuri to take her shopping. Kasthuri agrees and takes her downstairs. Kavya informs her dad about their shopping. Thiru tells his daughter not to disturb mommy as she has important work to do and he will take her but Kavya is stubborn and says she wants mommy to take her. Kasthuri tells Thiru it is okay and for him not to worry.

Mangai serves lunch for Bharath. Her sister sits down and wants to be served to as sheis hungry. Mother scold daughter for not waiting until BIL has eaten. Bharath tells his SIL to sit and eat. MIL apologizes for being harassed by their creditors. Bharath says it is nothing as they only wanted the money owed to them. MIL asks Bharath when he is starting his business and Bharath tells her he is trying to arrange for the funds. Mangai tells her mother to leave her husband alone as he will take care of it.

Kasthuri takes Kavya into a department store and they look at stuff there. Rekha is also there with Santosh. Santhosh sees a stuffed animal and reaches for it at the same time Kavya does. Both kids pull the stuffed animal and Kavya pushes Santosh down. Santhosh starts crying. Rekha and Kasthuri both rush to the kids. Rekha sees her son on the floor crying and asks what happened. Kasthuri does the same to Kavya. Both say they want the toy. Kasthuri asks the sales person to get another one but is told it is sold out. Kasthuri then asks Kavya to let Santhosh have it and takes it and gives to Santhosh. Kavya starts to cry. Kasthuri then takes the toy back from Santhosh and gives to Kavya. Rekha is shocked at this.

Amirtha goes to Kasthuri and they talk about the misunderstanding between Kasthuri and Rekha. Kasthuri tells Amirtha not everything can be spoken out. Amirtha tells her about the meeting about thenew project. Kasthuri tells Amirtha to asks Rekha to attend the meeting as she is in charge of the project. Rekha walks in and Amirtha tells her about the meeting. Rekha tells her she will not be able to attend the meeting as she has something very important to do. Amirtha tells Rekha that it is very important to attend the meeting as the MD of the other company is already upset and if this meeting does not go on, it would have a bad impression on their company. Rekha says The MD is upset because Kasthuri did not attend the first meeting and it is wrong for them to blame her. Kasthuri explains that she had to go because Kavya was missing. Rekha says everyone has persomal matters to attend to and why should she. Amirtha tries to persuade Rekha but Kasthuri tells her to leave it alone as Rekha has already told she has something important to do. Kasthuri gets up and leave. Rekha too gets up and thinks.

Kasthuri comes with lunch bag for Kavya and sits in the living. Thiru comes with his daughter and says they are ready. He tells Kasthuri his itinerary for the day and says he will only come back in the evening. He will send the car to pick Kavya from school. He is about to leave when his cell rings. Thiru answers it and tells Kasthuri it is from the licensing department and wants him to be there immediately or his license will be delayed for another week. Thiru is confused on what to do, as he has to attend a parent teacher conference at Kavya's school. Kasthuri tells Thiru to go ahead and she will meet with the teacher. Kavya also tells her dad she wants mommy to go with her. Thiru thanks Kasthuri and leaves.

Kasthuri and Kavya arrive at the school. They walk in. Rekha too comes with Santosh. Kavya sees Rekha and shows her to Kasthuri. Kasthuri takes Kavya's hand and walk towards Rekha. They meet face to face. THODARUM.

Continues from yesterday. Kasthuri asks Rekha what she is doing there. Rekha says she is there for the parent teacher conference. She asks why Kasthuri isthere. Kasthuri asks Kavya to go inside and after she leaves, she tells her she came for Kavya. Kasthuri asks why Kasthuri did not tell her about coming to school, if she did, they would come together. Rekha says everyone have their own personal matters to deal with. Kasthuri tells Rekha she has to meet Kavya's teacher before noon and leaves while Rekha leaves with Santosh.

Rekha returns home and tells her mother about meeting Kasthuri at school. She tells her mother Kasthuri came there with Kavya. Radha says this confirms her suspicions about Kasthuri and Thiru. Rekha wants to leave for work and Radha asks her to eat first. Rekha refuses saying she has to attend an important meeting and leaves.

Sindhamani is combing her younger daughter's hair. Bhanrath and Mangai return from the temple and Sindha tells them to inside and eat. The carpenters hired to make the bed come to see her and ask for $800 more as wood is expensive. Sindha tells them off for asking more money after promising her a certain price. Sindha and the men go back and forth about the price and bed. Bharath and Mangai listen from inside and laugh.

Rekha enters the office and ask Amirtha when the MD is coming for the meeting. Amirtha says the meeting is already over in the morning. Rekha tells her cannot be because the meeting was supposed to be in the afternoon. Amirtha explains that the MD had to leave for overseas urgently and had asked for the meeting in the morning. Rekha asks who attended the meeting as Kasthuri was at the school. Amirtha tells Kasthuri that Pavitra attended the meeting. Rekha is really angry now. Amirtha tells is in her room and tells Rekha to see her.

Kasthuri is with Pavitra. Kasthuri praises Pavitra for doing a good job with the agreement. Rekha enters and another staring match between Pavitra and Rekha. Pavitra leaves and Rekha starts blasting Kasthuri. She accuses Kasthuri of trying to do things against her. Rekha says that Kasthuri is a person with no moral and is hiding behind a little girl pretending tocare for the litte girl when she is actually married to the father. She then tells Kasthuri that she is now not as before and brings up stuff like Kasthuri has forgotten she was her maid before all this wealth. Kasthuri is shocked but listens patiently. Finally Kasthuri cannot take anymore and tells Rekha to stop and wants to tell her the truth but Rekha refuses to listen. Kasthuri tells Rekha to get back to work but Rekha just shouts at her and tellsher she does not wantto work for the manamketta company an boss and leaves. Kasthuri is totally shocked. THODARUM.

Kasthuri standing in the mottai maadi alone. Amirtha goes to her and Kasthuri asks if she contacted Rekha. Amirtha says she tried but Rekha did not andswer her call. Kasthur too says the same. Kasthuri tells Amirtha until that moment she does not understand why Rekha left the job abd feels sad that even Rekha does not understand her. Rekha is pacing in her living. Radha comes and asks her if she is not going to the office. Rekha says she is not and Radha tells her to take the day off. Rekha then informs her she is no longer working for Kasthuri as she had insulted her in front of the other staff. Rekha then tells her about the meeting with someone important andhow Kasthuri had left after telling Rekha to continue with the meeting. She says Kasthuri told her she does not know about the business and some other things and cries. Radha says how can Rekha says things like that and tells Rekha not towork for her anymore. Rekha says Kasthuri has changed, since Thiru came from Singapore. Rekha says even Bharath left probably because he knew about Kasthuri. Radha asks how can Kasthuri insult her daughter and wants to asks Kasthuribut Rekha tells her mother not to says anything.

Rekha is talking to her son. Ganesh and Amirtha come there and says that Kasthuri had hoped that Rekha comes to the office. Rekha tells them she will not work for Kasthuri. Ganesh asks if Rekha does not know what Kasthuri is going thru now. Rekha tells them she too is feeling bad. Ganesh tells her to forget about everything and come back. Rekha tells Ganesh that Kasthuri has forgotten about everything she has done for her. Rekha says that Kasthuri has forgotten everything that is past. Amitha and Ganesh tells Rekha that Kasthuri is now alone and it would be bad for Kasthuri if Rekha too leaves her. Rekha says everyone knew about Kasthuri except her but now she knows and would not go back to the office with them. Rekha tells Ganesh that she is well educated and is able to even start her own business anytime. Ganesh tries to convince Rekha but fails. Both Ganesh and Amirtha leave sadly. Rekha tells them they can visit her anytime but not as Kasthuri's representative.

Ganesh and Amirtha report to Kasthuri about what Rekha said. Kasthuri says she cannot even think about running the office without Rekha. Ganesh says Rekha is very serious about it. Kasturi says Rekha may have spoken in anger but would never think bad of her. Ganesh says that is not true anymore. Kashturi tells them about how Rekha's family had helped her before. Ganesh says Kasthuri has already repaid them for what they had done for her. Ganesh says Rekha must have always felt inferior about working for Kasthuri. Kasthuri says she will go and speak with Rekha and bring her back. Ganesh tells her not to as Rekha will insult her more. Kasthuri says it is okay but she will try and bring Rekha back and leaves.

Rekha in her front yard with her son. Radha goes to her and tells her to eat as she is going to the temple. Kasthuri arrives and asks if they will not talk to her. Radha says she has already said everything and nothing for them to talk. Kasthuri tells Radha she did not say anything to hurt anyone. Kasthuri says Rekha misunderstood her. Rekha gets up and shouts saying that even now Kasthuri, is saying it is Rekha's fault. Kasthuri apologizes if she had hurt her feeling and asks Rekha to come back. Rekha says she has told her not to go to Kasthuri's house. Kasthuri says she has reasons for saying that. Kasthuri says she wantsRekha to come back to the office. Rekha asks if Kasthuri wants to insult her more. Kasthuri tells Rekha that Pavitra's family relies on her income and due to that she had no heart to dismiss the firl. Kasthuri says she will transfer her to another office if that is what Rekha wants. Rekha says she will not work with Kasthuri and tells her to go find some other slave to work for her and to leave her alone. THODARUM.
