well,the recent articles about mayank returning has really livened me up and i just thought of starting a mini ff on them!!!!
so here goes!!!!!

rahul strummed his guitar as armaan,atul,ridhima,anjali and nikki sat beside him around the bonfire and swayed to the music.
the interns had gone with their senior docs on a surprise,pleasure trip to shimla.
a new intern was to join them there.
but as for now,six of them just enjoyed the cool breeze and the music.
rahul:wo......wooooooo....wo.....woooooooooo...

rahul stopped abruptly as a svelte,curly haired beauty walked past him and went to sit beside the grls.
muskaan:hi!!!!main muskaan hoon!umm...nayi intern?
anjali:oh!!toh tum ho nayi intern!hi!main anjali.
ridhima:main ridhima.but everyone calls me rids!!!
nikki:main nikita ya nikki!
armaan:heloo dear!!the name's malik....armaan malik.
atul:main champ!!!!!!!!!matlab atul.
muskaan turned to rahul.
muskaan:hi...i'm muskaan.
rahul smiled at her.
his gaze was prickling....and she couldn't really look at him directly.
rahul:rahul grewal.
muskaan smiled.
atul:achha ab hum sab hai toh chalo koi masti karte hai!!!hum sab couples banayenge...aur har coouple ko kuch perform karna hoga...chahe woh dance ho...gaana ho...ya acting ho!!!!!main anjali ke saath!!!!!
armaan:main toh ridhima ke saath!!!!
nikki:main anchor banoongi!!!!!
armaan:rahul:muskaan:tum dono partners banoge?
rahul:hmmm cool.
muskaan(mutters):as long as i don't have to look into his eyes...
rahul:kya?
muskaan:nahi!!!kuch nahi!!!!
atul and anjali performed a peppy dance number.
armaan rids re-did their heer-rancha act.
rahul:so..we're next..toh,what are you good at?
muskaan:umm,i dunno...tum bolo...
rahul:muskaaaaan....(she smiled.he streched her name so cutely)..we've only just met.i don't know what you're good at.lets see...can you sing?
muskaan:yeah...i can do that.
rahul and muskaan went forward.both sang a duet-the song 'Tu Bin Bataaye' from RDB, as rahul played the guitar.
a round of applause came from everyone as they ended.
anji:wow man!!!tum dono kitna compliment karte ho ek dusre ko!!!
armaan:haan yaar....saath mein kya duet gaaya dono ne!!!!
rahul grinned and then looked at muskaan,smiling.
muskaan immediately lowered her gaze.
that night,all the girls sat in their room,chattering away....
muskaan:achha guys..i really want to know you guys better....so mtell me about yourselves a little.
anjali:you know muskaan,jab ladkiyan apne baare mein shuru hote hai...toh khatam ki nahi karte!!!!toh its better we start with the boys.
muskaan:haan woh toh hai....toh bolo!!!
anjali:haan...yeh atul hai na!!!!!bilkul paagal-
muskaan:ummm,guys?
anji,rids,niki:yeah?
muskaan:mujhe rahul grewal ke baare mein kuch bologe?
anjali:oooooooooohhhh.....rahul ke baare mein jaan na chahti ho......
muskaan:nahi!woh toh...aise hi...
anjali:toh suno.....
