yes indeed.... I am still trying to find the answer to it....

why does a K serial starts off promising and gets ruined before it climax or soon after it...why is it that Kym was ruined after all the dragging with a stupid PA track.... ( although some off us would say that the PIM was the beginning off the downfall)...

how come ekta loses her touch... does she takes us the viewers for granted or does she realy thinks we are a bunch off brainless housewives ( sorry)...who dont have more to do then watch her crap... is she insulting us... or is she trying to ruin her own bussines... cause she can deny but her shows are already disappearing ....

most off the fan's watching the serial are just staying on for the lead couple or the crush they have on the actor/ actress.... for KYM ... I think its the forum and our friends writing and having fun what keeps us coming back.....and sorry to say ( some might even disagree) but at some point the main couple nor the actor/ actress can safe a serial... and that is only cause the storyline sucks....

and now the bigger Q.... how does she change this.....so do give suggestions/ idea's...

Frankle speaking this is the problem with every daily soap today...every serial loses its charm after 6-7 months whether its a BT soap or not..the main reason for this is the faulty system of trps😡

Does anyone know what actually a trp means or how does it actually work ??..well let me explain u how it works😆..Trp is television rating points which shows how popular is one serial for a particular channel...now what they do is track only 200 television sets from only 4 major cities(I think now they hv included 5 cities😆)...based on that popularity of a serial is decided😆😕..so just imagine India is hving millions and billion of viewers watching a telesoap and here popularity of a particular serial is decided based on just 800 television sets from 4-5 major cities😲...

So without these trps a serial doesn't work as per the channels and the reason why the creatives keep on compromising creativity to satisfy these channels..channels decide a serial's fate based on these 800-1000 televisions sets and its viewers in the name of trps😆...the reason why the serial goes in dolldrums and creativity goes out of the window again in the name of trps😆

First these channels need to hv a basic idea to track proper trps and popularity of a serial..this whole system of trp is faulty and because of this a serial suffers because its not necessary that those few 800 viewers will love what we would love to see...the majority here is not decided at all..how can u decide popularity of a show based on the verdict,likes and dislikes of just 800 viewers/..that is what is called a trp😆

No wonder shows like Kayamath suffers because at 11pm mayb those 800 viewers go to sleep and does not contribute to the so called trps😆..but that doesn't mean whole India is not watching it😊..

Well so the main reason is not Ekta Kapoor but its this system of trps which is causing harm to most serials today..there is only business going on in the name of creativity today..how can a serial survive then ??😊

yes she took/take us the viewers for granted far too long thinking no matter what we will watch her crap,as I believe she though people will love saas bahu crappy drama with no good storyline forever well she was so wrong in thinking like......how many bahu in India leave her in law's and husband's house to go leave with another man and faking to be his wife for good five years and even ready to marry him for real known fully well that her husband is still very alive and begging her to come back to him and also to let him giving his own son his name and all the wife can think about was what that crappy family has done for her and son,yes they help her and she to help them by looking after them and their kid.

Ekta believe we are so branless that we will sit and watch anything that's why she keep killing and bringing them back from their death......she thinks she is god with killing and bringging doesn't she know she making people and wives who have lost their loved one crying and wishing that they to can find a way to bring back their husbands and loved one.

she put people who are not fit to be called creatievs in charge as head creatievs of something wonderful like Michi's love story what did they do?ruined it for good and what actually left me wonder and thinking was the fact she gave him promotion after destroying her show....

now I believe she does not watch them to know what is happening in them but only think about how to put another one up on air.

jyoti... sweetie... I dont agree.... cause a serial like KYM was not in the running for the trp race ....... but it still did well the first 6 months.....

and we can discus the trp and how it works....the downfall for KYM happened.... and it started with the unnecessary dragging and then the loopholes....

yaar sometimes I wonder seeing the current tracks on telly....Is how many woman get a miscarriage, how many hubbies have a affair/ ONS, how many illegal kids pump up, how many secrets does a wife keep form hubby, how many crushes does a single girl have on a married man etc etc....

is this realy the realty in our lives... and do we need to see it....

indeed we the viewers have brains...and yes her biggest fault is to take us for granted.....

and yes our demands have become higher and the last few years.... we dont need loophole...we need to see a storyline played out well...leaving us with a smile...and yes drag it....but not so much that it kills the excitement....

we need to see LOGIC....and if we get that...a serial as KYM would still have been in the running as a good show...

Shali, I never loved Kayamath as a whole except for Shabbir's acting Michi's initial relationship. There were so many loopholes in the plot for me to admire the soap.
The way they showed grumpy Milind bond with fragile Prachi was great- only upto their first C night. I still tolerated the PIM track- though it was baseless. Because Shabbir did a GREAT job bringing MIlind's jealousy, agony and love to life. After that- it was a downhill journey. The boring PA track, and then intolerable PPP.. and finally the fake track let Michi down. The new track is doing nothing to compensate the loss. I still hope they pay attention to Michi's legacy and end it with a good note.

I never said this before though i've always wondered if this has any effect on the BT shows (which most likely it does).

Ekta is known to pay close attention to her shows.. BUT..only in the beginning when the show is just launched and is still to climb in popularity. Once the show hits it off and is pretty stable in the popularity she focuses her energies elsewhere (which is roughly 4-6months). Now i am not solely giving her credit for the success of her shows but its something that i've been wondering about.
Do her shows deteriorate only when she is not there to make every decision..when she hands it over to someone..who obviously doesn't do the same quality of work as she would.
Like right now Tujh Sang Preet Lagaii Sajna seems to be a promising show and is doing well i guess for a new show. But its probably because all her energies are focused there with the proper kind of promotion of that show too.
KYM stopped getting active promotions like it used to after the PIM track. It felt like the creatives had dropped the show from their favorite list and so eventually so did the viewers.
