Actors bashing

Hey

I did not want to make a post and i have been leaving threads open trying not to lock them so that people can carry on discussions.

However i want to make it clear NO bashing of actors is allowed, yes you can discuss their work and no fan should take offense if someone does not like their actor work. Bashing does not just include direct attacks but sarcastic comments etc.

This is just a reminder thats all because i have seen alot of arguments going on. If you do not like a actor fair enough why waste time constantly bashing them if i notice this i will be sending pms too.

Forum seems to be sending too negative and i was trying to be leinent and not close posts thats why i am making this thread instead.

I stopped placing any comments because folks are so obnoxious towards the actors or actresses that they don't like. It's acceptable to dislike a particular actor. It seems people don't say much when something good happens as they are so occupied in their affinity for bashing. Maybe a rule must/should be made as such that one is allowed to state insofar as that they dislike an actor and following that utter no more.

i have been on IF from quite a long time n i have always been really nice wid my posts ...but i guess recently IF is all full of bashing ..dere are soo many comparisons which have also made me go carried away most of the times..most of the times v dont want to rite bad stuff to any actor or actress but its jst that some ppl are always making comparisons n i wont say that i have not indulged in it..i have mostly been carried away but that was jst coz of the response of many ppl on IF who let down some actors n make fun of them...i hope v all b a lil encouraging towards actors n try to respect others opinions n avoid sarcastic comments including me as i really dont intend to bash any actors on IF ...n i dont think any of us should do that anymore...

Thanks, this was much needed! There's always a nice way of saying and discussing things and no need to get uptight about things! The basic rule should be that if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all! However, presenting your opinions is a good thing and constructive criticism is also good, but things should be said graceful and wit dignity b/c actors are humans! Thanks again and hopeful people with stop being hostile towards actors they don't like!

I have seen some members getting all hyper when there is a discussion on their favorite actor. Then the same members go on other threads and write in a very offensive way. Stones....Glass...
