So this week Kanjali's solo performances look superrrrrr HOT 😳
and Kapil danced on a Dilip Kumar's song and Anjali picked Rang De Ni....
The judges thought that the songs will not be acceptable to youngsters....BUT here I am, a teenager 😆😆
and I am EAGERLY waiting for Kanjali's performance. Not because I love them so much, but because Anjali looks adorable in her indian outfit and Kapil looks smokiiiiiin in the dhoti 😆😆😆 🤪
And come on, as teenagers if we are ready appreciate our culture by watching Kanjali's performance on old songs...then I dont see the problem 😛😛😛
Your views will be appreciated 😊

Man I grew up listening to the classics. They're the best.

Old is Gold in my book.
New genres of music didn't just pop out of thin air. They developed from the old stuff. Everything has a foundation and the old stuff is the foundation of music today. Whether we are talking in terms of content, composition or inspiration.
Things develop out of each other.

If I'm not mistake, aren't alot of the old songs being released again by popular artists or as remixes? So what's up with these judges dissing these oldified songs? Also, I'm sure they grew up with these songs, so finding it hard to see where they are coming from.

i think that's because of the much western style we now see in the songs.. also, i hate it when the remix one of my fav songs.. just simply do NOT like that fact.. can't they make their own music.. and if they want to re-release them, at least do it tastefully..! 😡

p.s. sorry, if it is off-topic..
i for one am very glad that Kapil chose that song.. but i do not like the fact that in the end, he said that yes, even it took me time to adjust to that song.. sorry Kanjali fans, but i really did NOT took well to that comment..

I agree…They both did an amazing job!!! They rocked as usual ..and also got under appreciated as usual..

All this new songs are based on old music…old songs are classics and that's what we are known for around the world…hip-hop, dance, rock this is not Indian music..we adopted this from the western culture… y certain ppl putting emphasis on western music and downplaying their own.. one must understand their own music and roots as well and appreciate them..just as much….

When most of us here live out side of India, appreciate Indian music listen to these old songs and appreciate them..y is it such a problem according to certain decision makers.. which teenagers and young ppl are they refereeing to when they say they don't like old music is my question….

This is the major problem with NB4....... They want everything new.... I remember in Nb1-Nb2 Saroj Khan used to appreciate contestants when they used to dance on old songs.............. Wake up judges, I am from young generation. Even younger than you, but if someone ask me what is my favourite song i still go with old songs..........
About dancing, who hell in this world told you that young generation cant dance on old songs??????
