Gautami delivered a baby boy- DNA Newspaper

Mumbai: Ram Kapoor and wife Gautami are in seventh heaven. Gautami delivered a baby boy at the Breach Candy hospital on January 12 at around five in the afternoon. An ecstatic Gautami spoke to us from the hospital.

"I can't describe the joy of motherhood in words. Though Sia gave me infinite joy, our new son has given a different dimension to my existence, our family and life," she says.

Have they thought about the name yet? "Ram himself has a short name and our daughter has a three-letter name. So, we wanted a three-letter word which is simple, but not a tongue twister for our boy too. We thought Aks is a beautiful name, as it is uncomplicated and means 'reflection' in Hindi."

Does the name have anything to do with the Amitabh Bachchan starrer flick Aks? "Yes. Both of us have seen the film and liked it. We remembered the word from the film, and later the meaning of the word just added to the momentum. Also, Aks Kapoor sounds like a cool dude!" Gautami is still in the hospital and is expected to get discharged on Friday.
