..... can they please stop implying that .... she is beautiful...

i loved the whole haldi rasam and ranveer standing up for her .... one of the best scenes in recent tv times... but the subtext of the entire dialogue was that ragini may not be good-looking but she was a fantastic person .... they kept saying its the "andar ki khoobsoorti" that counts ....

but that sends out a wrong msg - that anyone who is not conventionally fair is not beautiful ... dusky ppl are also stunning ... sirf andar se nahi but bahaar se bhi .... outer beauty may not be that important but it does not mean that dusky ppl are not beautiful from the outside

i have a little cousin who is dusky ... she doesn't want ppl to tell her that she is a nice person... she already knows that ... but it makes her very insecure ... we keep trying to convince her that not only is she pretty from the heart but also from the face...

i really wish they do some scene between ranveer and ragini that shows ranveer trying to convince ragini that she is beautiful from the outside also .... now that would be fabulous

Ranvir has said it over and over again that Ragini is beautiful..... for him... and the i agree the scene was probably best of the scenes of recent times...
Ragini is shown dusky and there are dark beauties as well.. but paradox remains that in India many people consider the color as a taboo... For example when Bidaai was hitting on air, they had given adds in paper for a fair bride and a not so fair bride the maximum proposals came for a fair bride thats something which the society still has and this show is concenterating it...However this is the main story and concept of the show which they r following

Personally i think Parul is stunning and has great sharp features!!

when he went to her place for the rishta...he was like ragini u r so beautiful...
again on terrace scene he said.. chahe khoobsurti mann ki ho ya roop ki tum bemisaal ho... n in yesterdays epi too..he said that ragini is the most beautiful girl in the world...

yes, i only catch the serial occasionally and could not help but comment as this post is a very good one.

It is undoubtedly a good serial but i too am not able to come to terms with this constant let down of Raginis colour/looks..its quite ridiculous if you ask me..and very insulting for somebody who is not fair!...

I really feel the makers now need to get their act together on this one..before they too get wiped out lslowly like alot of other serials..

Whoever i know who watches this has also found this Ragini letdown on basis of her colour rather irritating..its absolutely uncalled for and in todays times i tend to agree darkish people can be attractive too..

Every episode that i have watched has some indication of raginis colour/looks..this is wrong!..they need to stop now and change the story line...enough is enough!

well said.......yes she is very pretty except for the oilyness (more black) on her face which is applied for the serial. She is very pretty in reality.

Ragini (Parul) she is very beautiful, she has beautiful eyes and a very sweet smile.

I get really angry when they go on about roop … fine she has dark skin which is considered ugly but her roop is beautiful and I get really angry at this grrrr. I wish vasu stood out 4 ragini more but I guess she cant really fight for what she doesn't really believe in herself… afterall she hasn't really excepted ragini as a bahu she is jst so overwhelmed by the fact that alekh has excepted her that she is too got up on this … I jst hope she doesn't make raginis lyf a living hell after the marriage..

I love bidaai only show that I look forward to watching … itz not to dramatic and its not to dragging… jst prefect plus kinshuk is in it so I love it even mre….

Ps… I love the way Ragvir compliment each other I love their sinces *blush* it gives me Goosebumps lol
