two of my bhabi's brother's are married to girls who are also sisters just like ragini and sadhna. and one of them is dark and the other fair. i think they are both beautiful and great. and i can honestly say that i have never heard anybody compare the two or say bad things about the dark sister.

Maybe location plays a role as well as other factors. Of course there are people with darker skin tones that do not get discriminated but I think Bidaai just wants to shed light that some Indian people still hold onto this backward mentality about skin color which is very much true. It's hard to for people to change the way they think if they are not exposed to different people, opinions, and perspectives.

that is true! even when sheetal was saying that I do not think anyone would say that out loud in front of everyone maybe like in private but not in front of everyone.

And yes you are right Ragni, parul is more beautiful than sadhana sara... she has very nice sharp features... and also parul is real is actuall light brown and tone her skin to make her look more dark..sometime they have her a look a bit too dark!
