I felt that today was a landmark day in the Ragvir relationship.....they've come a long way.

During their first meeting also, Ragini had been taunted by some roadside mawaalis and Ranvir had come to her defense then.....and today was the first time since that day that Ranvir stood up for and defended Ragini so firmly in public again.....back then, he had done it out of plain and simple good-heartedness/chivalry.....today he stood up for the love of his life....'meri Ragini' as he said again and again.....Amazing how far they've come.

Not too long ago, if we recall, the time when Ranvir was madly 'in love' with Sonia and Ragini's rishta was put in front of him, his response was to say, "Ragini can never be my choice.....there is no comparison b/w her and Sonia...look at how beautiful Sonia is".......and now, we have a new Ranvir in front of us.....A Ranvir that instead remarks that HE is not worthy enough of Ragini.....that for him, she is the most beautiful girl in this world.....

I couldn't help but think about the contasts of these two incidents.....and it made me realize how far they've come......May their love just continue to grow with time! What an amazingly touching and beautiful relationship this is!

Anu, you so beautifully expressed Ragvir's relationship. They really have come a long way. Ranvir has grown up a lot since the whole Sonia incident and Ragini is slowly growing more confidence with Ranvir's love.

The comparison between the two incidents shows us how different Ragvir were and now are. When Ragvir first meant, Ranvir defended Ragini because he is a good guy and he would done the same for any girl! But now how he defended Ragini in fronted of Sheetal, and that he could only do for a girl who he truly believes will make the best life partner for him. Same action, different reasons behind for taking that action!

And I agree....Ranvir has grown up a long since then.....and Ragini's self-confidence has also grown.....which was evident today when she was the one to speak up and say to her mother, 'Maa, chalein haldi ki rasam puri kar lein?"....

What I REALLY want to see is the growth in Ragini until the day she herself shuts up these Sheetal type of ppl.

But I wonder....how exactly do you reply to a person who puts you down for your complexion?? 😕😆.....It would be a little narcissistic to start praising your looks on your own, nahin?😆.....or even to start a lecture about society's narrow minded perceptions of 'beauty'.....It kinda sounds better when a third person says it than the person themselves, don't you think?

I know, that's a toughie...No one has ever directly insulted me on my appearance aside from my brothers😆 It does seem a bit weird to toot your own horn! The person who is doing the insulting isn't necessarily gonna change their mind by listening attentively to the person they insulted...A third party would be better in changing the mind of the insulter! I think a combination about both the the insulted and a third party would be an effective strategy. If the insulted speaks up then that will show confidence and a third party confirming that view would show credibility....I'm not very confrontational, so it would be a difficult situation for me😆

They have indeed come a long long way in their relationship..........
Ranvir's who had broken his trust post Sonia incident has regained his trust back in from of Ragini..... that was what i found amazing!!

Ragini, who always was taunted coz of her color but still waited for a prince charming got her prince charming and the love she always deserved!!

The first meeting , followed by the rejection then again the confusion(which to an extent was justified) and the misunderstanding ...and finally the confession...Ranvir took time to realize and come face to face with the truth of being in Love with Ragini from that time he has been there... LOved the bit when from Airport he directly went to Kaushalya Niwas it was again one highlight... When the beautique incident didnt have his presence made us all thinking and when Sadhna asked him how wud he react he did say he wud make the person understand his mistake n he did the same... with respect he stood for Ragini ........something beautiful........The Graph of their relationship has been beautiful i just hope n request the creatives let it remain the same post marriage!!
But in this show relationships has been handled beautifully esp Hubby-Wife.. all of them have a thick bond of standing by each other !!

Yeah Anu, they really have come a long way....

I actually kinda liked that Ranvir was presented as bit of a shallow character in the beginning (during his relationship with Sonia).....It gave him the opportunity to grow and mature as a person and slowly come to the realization that there are far more important qualities to value in a person than their appearance, though, of course, for him Ragini is absolutely gorgeous....The depiction of that journey has been so beautiful....I hope we see some more development in Ragini's character as well in the future....

Totally agree w/t u here Nureat01......now can't wait to see the full blooming of Ragvir's post marriage relationship as married couple.......it will be a real feast for all of us!.....

also waiting for Sadhna's sacrifices to get rewarded as Alekh gradually recovers........their newfound love will be another focal theme to look forward to...!

in today's episode even kaushalya has no fear abt the comparison of ragini and sadhna as she knows now Ranvir is here, during sheetal's convo her expressions towards parkash chand were like see thats happening i was worried abt but as soon ranvir cam her expressions were totally relaxed,proudy, proud of ranvir as her Damaad

the growth in the characters of the both of them....Ranvir and Ragini has been beautifully depicted......it was a good move to show that the two of them had felt no connection or any of those tugs at the heartstrings when they had known each other initially.......even though the rest of the characters around them suspected some connection between them......what was the most wierd was that people like Vasu n others had been absolutely suspicious every time they interacted......if she was so sure of her son's choice then why harbour suspicions as to the fact that he might somehow fall for ragini??...this clearly shows that deep down ....subconsciously probably all were aware of the beautiful qualities of Ragini's nature which had the capacity to attract somone.....n its good that they showed his early 'rejection' of Ragini on the basis of his comparing her with Sonia......coz it shows how far he has come n how much he has grown in character from his earlier days......also Ragini's confidence has grown in leaps n bounds with the support of her Ranvir....i mean it was a great aspect of the screenplay etc to have Ranvir enter a few moments after Sheetal had said that "iss ladki ko bhi 10 baar soch lena chahiya tha iss rishte ke liye haan bolne se pehle.....ranvir hi zindagi barbaad ho gayi".....at a moment like this Ragini herself might have begun to doubt as to whether she would actually destroy the life of the one she loved so much by merely associating herself with him.....n if Ranvir would not have come in at that moment n defended his love...his choice and his Ragini....such doubt might have continued to plague Ragini's mind for times to come in the future......coz the foremost concern in her mind is that of the welfare of her love n her loved one's........

as for whether one could come ip n support onself in the face of such verbal assaults......welll.....in Ragini's positon it would be difficult coz sheetal was not just another person but her to be mom-in-laws best friend.....n when her mom-in-law could not talk back properly to Sheetal then how could Ragini herself.......but it showed great strength of character in Ragini when she decided to stay back in the Haldi Hall n not leave as Malti wanted her too.....showed that her level of confidence was already much improved from what it had been before......i guess isnce the insults were directed towards her Ragini preffered to keep quiet ....coz if they'd been directed towards her family etc then i dont think she would have been a silent spectator......also as for blowing one's own horn is concerned.....yes i agree the so-called members of the society around you would label it as an act of narcissistic boasting......but sometimes.....in some cases it important to show poeple that one is not as unworthy as the others claim them to be.....coz if you dont protest n defend yourself (if there is no one around to defend you)...then the negative insults that people/society keeps labelling you with becomes an established fact n people will begin to use you as a sorta scapegoat........insulting you whenever they would feel like knowing very well that there would be noone to support you ...not even you your ownself.......n the charm of patience doesnt last forever......sometime or the other with overstreching even that might break.....not to forget the constant barges on your morale n your confidence with constantly having to withstand these negative remarks......so sometimes its important to defend yourself or otherwise it might lead to a complete collapse of one's confidence......thats unless you are a person with utmost inner confidence n completely resolved as to your qualities n have no inner conflict as to your qualities......but i guess every human being would be at some time or the other riddled with self doubt.....thats what maks one human.....

yeah indeed it was a landmark day...

the lady was goin on speaking without a stop and i was waiting for ranvir n aalekh cming n hearing all this.. n omg wat an entry made by ranvir as malti said he entered like a hindi filmi hero types..but in his own original way and the way rags looks at him wen he says that he is not perfect for her really touched me
