Written + Vid Updates - Jan 12 & 13

Simar is packing and Veera tells her to go to Goa and reassures her that she'll take care of the office Priya is daydreaming of Rishi when she's getting ready, she dreams that Rishi tells her she looks beautiful and then helps her put on a necklace while she's blushing. She gets out of the dream and they both leave for the party. While leaving we see that she's having a hard time walking in her heels (hint of what's going to happen later). Rishi also says he'll talk to the hotel in getting another room aparently there wasn't one avaiable earlier so they had to share a room Rishi was talking to someone when he see's that there's this guy by Priya asking her to dance and she's feeling uncomfortable. They ended up dancing together and Priya fell and sprains her ankle. Rishi tells Priya to get up and walk but she's having difficulty so Rishi picks her up and takes her to the room. Simar comes to the room when she see's Rishi and Priya where Rishi is trying to comfort Priya when she's in pain and she's enjoying the attention she's getting from Rishi. Simar is taken aback when she she's this, Rishi realizes she's here and is so happy. He realises she's tensed and he starts explaining and Simar says that's not needed. Rishi and Simar are playing at the pool and Priya's looking from the side of pool and is so jealous. I can't remember her name but Manas's so called girlfriend cooks and Rano's praising her cooking. The whole gang at the table is shocked at Rano being so cool. Nani takes Manas to the side and says that tomorrow's Lohri and they'll celebrate it grandly as it's Rano/Manas and Raunak/Soni's first Lohri. She tells him to dance with the girl friend to make Rano jealous. Nani announces at the table that they'll celebrate Lohri and Rano asks if she can call her dost and Nani says yes, you should have seen the faces of Nani, Manas and others. Rishi gets a coconut for Simar but she's on the phone so Priya takes it and later Simar comes back saying she wants one too. Rishi gets another one and Rishi and Simar are drinking from the same coconut and Priya's fuming and she distances herself from the couple.
• Simar tells Rishi that Priya feels uncomfortable around the them so they should send her back. Priya goes to her room.

January 13, 2009

Priya is crying and Rishi and Simar comes and she says that she should go back as the conference is done and she doesn't have anything to do. Simar tells her she can't go and they'll stay here. Simar then gets a call from home saying that they're celebrating Manas/Rano and Raunak/Soni's first Lohri and they're invited. Simar says that she's away with Rishi and Rishi takes the phone and says that they'll come back for the Lohri celebration. Soni looks at Raunak's resignation letter and she talks to him and he says he's doing the right thing and not to worry. Nani sends Manas to get ready and sends him away and we hear Nani saying that she wants Manas and Rano to get ready in their room so they can have some time together. Manas see's Rano and they have an eye locking session he gets ready in a gold shilvani (??? I think it's a shilvani or kurta whatever you call it) and Rano's in a white dress. Manas goes out of the room after another eye locking session. Nani and gang are happy seeing Manas saying that he's looking so good Rano comes down the stairs looking awesome in a white dress (anarkali dress I think???) and everyone is zapped as she looks so good. She's coming down with attitude and she walks past by Manas. The family tells Rano she's looking good and Manas stands next to her when she walks over to her mami and asks why she's not ready but she's also looking at Manas and he's looking at her. Manas says in his mind something like he's going to win in this game and he's going to get Rano to speak up her feelings. Rano on the other hand says she's not going to loose in this game and that Manas is mistaken. Loved this scene but I can't do justice to what Manas and Rano said to one another in their minds. Was such a great scene to watch. Veera and Massi come and Raunak and Soni's family come as well Simar comes and she says that Rishi's at work and he'll come later. Simar is missing Rishi so she calls him and he says he's with Priya finishing the work and Simar tells Rishi to invite Priya as well Comments are made that Rano and Soni are looking great The Lohri bonfire is lit and it's decided that the new couples Manas/Rano and Raunak/Soni should do the first rounds which they do and then everyone else joins in. While doing the rounds Manas and Rano have flashbacks of their wedding Rano's standing on the side where Manas is with his so called girlfriend and she's looking at Rano. Rano is waiting for her so called boyfriend. The dhol starts and these dancers come and are dancing the bhangra. Everyone is having a good time and Rano finally see's her boyfriend and she starts dancing with him. Manas see's Rano dancing and then takes her girlfriend to dance with him. While dancing he bumps into Rano and Rano returns the bump and they're all dancing. (Loved this scene as well) Rishi is dancing with Simar and is having a great time, Priya is jealous seeing this. Simar gets a call and walks away from Rishi seeing this Priya goes to Rishi and starts dancing with him.
• Veera and Massi have a weird look on their faces when they see Rishi and Priya dancing together.

Totally loved all the scenes of Manas/Rano this week and looking forward to more tomorrow.
