Hi everyone, just wanted to express a feeling I got after watching today's episode. I was reaised in Canada and believe it or not there is no one here that behaives like "Shetal". People here work hard for their money, including the teens, Heck we have a more working life then those back home who depend on their families. I have never met a single arrogant canadian raised person in my life, even with a materialistic life style. Quite frankly when I went back home, I found more of this arrogance and jelosuly which I was never expossed to. I just hope to portray that most NRI ppl are the most down to earth and open minded ppl. we do not judge ppl by their appearance but by their behaivour and intellect. what do the rest of you guys think?

I don't think the point was to show Canadians in a bad light...but there is this mentality that NRIs especially in West aren't raised properly, spoiled, or immoral! But even Vasu is arrogant and her friends living in India as well (so location doesn't seem to be a main factor here in arrogance)...In another thread, we were discussing about how living abroad in places like Canada we would expecy people to be more liberal and open-minded especially in diverse areas! We concluded that Sheetal had this high-class, arrogant attitude even before she came to Canada!
