Write your own opening to Book 7
Since Book 7 is a long way off, MuggleNet is hosting a competition to see which of you can write the best opening to the last tome in the Harry Potter series. Here's your task:
Write the opening pages of Book 7 in no more than 1000 words. Send your entry to bookseven at staff dot mugglenet dot com. Entries will be evaluated on creativity, clarity and originality. Five finalists will be chosen and you will have an opportunity to choose your favorite. The top 3 - after the fans vote - will receive prizes.
