Salman caught in a smoking hot controversy

Bollywood bad boy Salman Khan has attracted media attention for the wrong reasons again. He was caught smoking in a public place. A voluntary organisation based in Chandigarh, the first smoke-free city of India, has filed a complaint against the actor after catching him lighting up in public.

If the allegations are correct, he will be charged for violating the Tobacco Control Law. The star was reportedly seen lighting up the butt inside a train bogie, while shooting at Kurali railway station in Mohali.

"We have registered a written complaint against both of them with the Railway Protection Force Wednesday. A private news channel has the clippings of the actors while smoking at a public place," Hemant Goswamy, chairperson of Burning Brain Society, said.

"He has violated the provisions of section 4 of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act, 2003. Besides, he has also violated the section 167 of the Railway Act that prohibits one from smoking at the railway station or inside the rail bogie," Goswamy said.

Ajay Devgan was also photographed smoking at the Chandigarh airport Monday by a photo journalist.

i don't know why most of these actors smoke, don't they care about their health, come on they are actors, that have to look good

Salman in trouble for smoking in public

A Chandigarh-based voluntary organisation filed a complaint against Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan for allegedly smoking at a public place. The duo is currently in Chandigarh for the filming of Vipul Shah's London Dreams.

According to the complaint, the Bollywood stars violated the tobacco control law by smoking inside the bogie of a train, while shooting for a movie at the Kurali railway station, in Mohali district, some 35 km from Chandigarh.

"We have registered a written complaint against both of them with the Railway Protection Force Wednesday. A private news channel has the clippings of the actors while smoking at a public place," says Hemant Goswamy, chairperson of Burning Brain Society.

The same NGO also filed a complaint Tuesday against Devgan with the Chandigarh police and the director of health services for smoking at a public place.

Devgan was also photographed by a photo journalist while smoking at the Chandigarh airport Monday.
