Written Update -7th January 2009

Purab gets to the wedding venue but the baraat is in his way - so he can't get in.

Radhika looks at Dev sadly. The samdhis meet and hug each other - Brij mohan family and Purohit family. Purohit family give some saghun gifts to Brij mohan family and vice versa. Dev's evil chachu looks like he doesn't appreciate the gift. Devki tells Bela to tell Dev to get off the horse now for rasams. Dev's evil chachu says the gift is so cheap and that even beggars in Delhi will refuse it and Mrinali says, but we must accept otherwise our samdhi ka apmaan ho jaega. Dev is still looking for Radhika and Radhika at some point leaves the balcony and just then Dev looks in that direction....

But he only sees the doors swinging shut. Birju asks Dev how is he feeling. Dev asks him have you seen her? Birju says who? He says she must be getting ready being a bride. Dev says he had the feeling she was watching him just now. Birju cracks some joke at Dev expense. (I didnt understand the joke! - It seemed quite stupid and irrelvant anyways).

Vishaka is getting anxious in her room. Somebody breaks a glass pane with a rod. It is Purab disguished with a Saree. Purab asks her where was she and Vishaka asks him angrily where was he? That she is getting married and that all her dreams 'tout hogaya' and that everything is over. Purab retorts that he put himself in danger and came here and that you are now blaming me. Purab goes away from Vishaka disgusted. Seeing Vishaka tormented, he gets a calculating look and says that Vishaka you will never understand me. Vishaka says Purab that is not so. Purab says that he has fixed a meeting with a great director and that once audition goes allright they will then go to Mumbai.Vishaka gets all excited. He says that he was calling repeatedly but no one was picking up. That he managed to convince them to wait for one hour.Purab grabs her arm and says let's go - I have come to take you there. Vishaka stops him and says 'Are you mad? I am getting married today. Baraat is here already.' Purab retorts really! congrats!I didnt even know (sarcastically) God have given me sight too but I wont let you get blinded - i wont let you get married and let your dreams get broken. Purab tells Vishaka to think about her dreams, where we will go, what will we do. That you will become a big star. Then Mumbai.Just think Vishaka that once this audition goes smoothly - we will be going to Mumbai. And if by god something goes wrong - then we will be back in Vrindavan. Vishaka says its not that easy. Her parents will be ashamed. Somebody knocks at the door. Purab hides under the bed. Radhika enters the room and seeing Vishaka in bridal wear says you look so nice and that she wished she could have adorned her. She says she was watching her dulhe raja - she stops mid sentence - 'kya bataoon' the baraat - everyone look so happy. She brought her a gift Radha-Krishna kanha. She asks why is she sad. Radhika thinks that Vishaka is sad about leaving home. She says Dev babu will keep her happy - and stops midsentence again. She says tell me what is bothering you - I will do my everything to help. Vishaka asks for sure? Radhika retorts yes!

Vishaka asks Radhika - will do me a favor? Radhika says yes tell me. Vishaka closes the door and then calls Purab out from under the bed. Radhika is shocked to see him and asks what is he doing here. Vishaka tells Radhika 'Come on' and then tells Purab to wait for her outside - that she will be there in 5mins. Purab agrees. Vishaka tells him to be careful while going out - that no one should see him. Radhika starts to question why Purab is here? Why is he waiting for you? Where are you going? Vishaka gets annoyed and says 'Oho Radhika' I will explain. Purab is helping me getting auditions for movies.Vishaka is circling Radhika and the rest of her explanation is in mute.

Vishaka asks Radhika have you understood? You just have to get ready in my bridal wear and sit here so that if anyone comes they will feel like it is me who is sitting here. Radhika is shocked and speechless. She tells her in a placating voice - I will just do the audition and come back.

Radhika tells her what is she talking about? Think about our parents. They wont be able face anyone - if it is known you are not here. Vishaka says that no one will know - the baraat has just come - there will still be poojas and other rasams for another one hour or two. People will come to get her afterwards. Radhika says she wont be able to do so. Vishaka gets annoyed and says just now you were saying that I will do anything you want and for you. Radhika says it is not so - try to understand me. Vishaka says you just have to get ready in my bridal wear. I will handle the rest. Radhika adorns herself as a bride and Vishaka is wearing normal clothes. The Ghoonghat is very low so that you cant really see the face properly. Dev's Chachu and Arjun speak near Mrinali instigating her jealousy - that for her wedding with Vivek that so much decorations and preparations were not done. The izzaat they gave to Brij Mohan family Mrinali's family didnt get that much. Mrinali is boiling with bitterness and says she is feels suffocated and says she is leaving. Dadi sitting next to her - looks at her sadly. Vishaka tells Radhika to keep her ghoonghat low and to sit in her room - that it is the matter of only one hour. Radhika stops her again and she says she wont be able to do so. Vishaka gets angry. Radhika says it is dhokha! with our parents and if they learn this they will be hurt. Vishaka retorts 'not again radhika'. Radhika says 'you dont understand - Aama made her promise she wont be part of any of the wedding's ceremonies and you by making wear this bridal wear you have put me in a 'sankat'. I cant break Kanha's kasam. Vishaka says allright dont break your Kanha's kasam - Radhika gets happy and says that means you are no longer going with Purab. Vishaka says no I will go to the mandap and say that she doesnt want to get married at all and that she is getting married against her wishes. Her dreams are something else. Hearing this our parents will definitely get shocked and will get ashamed before Vrindavan. Look into my eyes - are you ready to be responsible for all this? Radhika is tensed. Vishaka is angry and says that instead of helping me you are bent on fulfilling Kanha's Kasam. Radhika stops her and says main tayaar hoon. Vishaka says 'Good Girl' and now do as I say. Now wear this ghoonghat and stay here.

That is all for now. I am again disappointed that the storyline is being dragged. I am slowly starting to lose interest.
