Dadi is tensed about Gayatri's true parentage. Sameer and Gayatri have not patched up. Shutri keeps a family dinner for all, inviting Gills and Kauls so that Sameer and Gayatri can spend some time together. Pallavi turns up with the Kauls.
The Agarwals are uneasy about her presence. Krishna also joins Pallavi and she introduces him to the Kaul family as her son. Sameer and Gayatri have a big fight. They decide to give their relationship some time.
