Shah Rukh didnt invite me to watch Rab Ne.. - Salman Khan By NDTV, 30 December, 2008 |
![]() The actor who celebrated his birthday this Saturday, said, "Shah Rukh didn't invite me to watch his film. Even Adi (Aditya Chopra) didn't do that. How could I go and watch a film when I am not invited at all." Just a couple of months ago the same Salman Khan had announced that he and Shah Rukh would never patch up. But his latest comment seems to suggest that may be he wants Shah Rukh to take an initiative to end the cold war between them since Katrina's birthday party. Ironically, he doesn't leave any opportunity to snub King Khan. On being asked if he himself will go to a theater or make any effort to watch the film, he said, "If I am sitting somewhere and the film comes on TV, I will watch it, otherwise " He makes it quite clear that he is in no mood to make any efforts to watch Shahrukh's Rab Ne On the other hand Salman continues to have a soft corner for Aamir. Ask him if he has seen Ghajini and pat comes the reply "Of course! It's a very good film. Aamir has put in a lot of hard work for the film. He has sculpted his body so well. I appreciate his effort. The best thing is that it's a worthwhile effort. See the film is doing so well at the box office. " Salman had recently painted Aamir's Ghajini look which was unveiled by Aamir's co-star Asin. The unveiling of the portraits became a huge promotional event for the film. But Salman denies that his paintings or any of his efforts have played any role in making Ghajini a super hit. Says he, "Main apni filme nahi chalwa pata to main Aamir ki filme kya chalwa paaunga( I am not able to make my films run, how would I help Aamir's?) I have no role at all in making Ghajini a blockbuster." Guess Salman is being very honest rather than juat plain humble. If he had any role in turning a film into a blockbuster, would he have helped Yuvvraaj the first thing? |
