Does anyone else feel that Torsha's singing is so similar to Pamela chopra's..

Pam Chopra is Yash Chopra's wife and has lent her voice for songs like

1) Banno ki aayegi Baraat from Aaina

2) main sasural nahin jaoongi fromChandni

3) ghar aa ja Pardesi tera des fro DDLJ

4) Chale Aaon saiyan from Bazaar...

Sorry, TallyHo, Ever since I read your post I have been trying to think what Pamela Chopra sounds like but have been unable to compare both Pamela and Torsha.

You are usually spot on, on your assesments so I am sure, you are right on this one too =)

its the same here too dear tallyho. the king does not remember how pamela chopra sings. but doesn't the voice in the DDLJ song u mentioned seem very matured

The DDLJ song was sung by Manpreet who came via the TV show Meri Awaaz Suno which was long long ago. Sunidhi Chauhan was the winner of the competition but Manpreet was highly praised also.

and Yes Manpreet was one of the participants of the show Meri Aawaz Suno which was won by Sunidhi....manpreet also sang..tujhe yaad na meri aayi from Kuch kuch hota hai!
