I think the driving age should be raised because many accidents are caused by teen drivers.

True, BUT when you do have a license at a young age, you can drive your younger siblings to school while your parent are at work. You can also drive to school rather than walking (in snow) especially if you live 20 minutes away from the school (like me). And well some kids need independence, you dont want to depend on your parent for rides, especially if your going to pick up a paper or something from your friends house which is like 5 minutes away.
