I stood there with my daughter in my arms as they lowerd my wife down into the ground. You could say that my fairy tale had just been compleltly lost. My life all changed all becuse of some one drinking and driving , they had hit my wife dead on. The doctors said she didnt have a chance. My daughter Shay is 3 its hard knowing that she wont really know her mom. but evently hopefully we all will survive.
four years later
" Shay hurry up " i hollared up the starirs
" Dad you know I am 7 I can deal with getting to teh bus stop by my self"
" but your late so know I have to drive you so get you butt in the car"
Shay came running down the stairs and just as she was on her way out the door she tripped over her own feet. She was just like her mom in that way. Shay has long brown hair and the soft blue green eyes that her mom had.
" Dad you coming " Shay hollared bringing me out of my thougt
I walked outside and into the car. Heading towards the school Shay decided that it would be cool to listen to some of my old stuff. I use to be in a band before I meet Shay's mom got married and had a daughter. Life was good back then though now it was hard just getting through even though it has been 4 years I still find it hard.
" DADDY WATCH OUT" shay screamed
I stomped on the brake making that car stop very fast . there walking across the road like she was untouched was at tall brown haired girl. i got out of the car just to make sure everyting was alright
" Are you alright" I asked
"im fine " she reasured with a smile
She started to walk away but someting in my mind told me not to let her go. The girl was no dout beautiful, I couldnt take my eyes off her.
" Wait" I called
she turned to look at me
" Why dont I take you out to dinner sometime" I asked
" well see heres the thing im really busy"
" alright then your not intrested ill leave you alone "
I got back in my car and she walked her own way.
" Dad who was that " shay asked
" I never got her name "
" Way to go "
I just laughed at my daughter and drove her to school.
