Should there be a film made on the recent Mumbai Attacks?

The reports from the Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association (IMPPA) and Association of Motion Picture and Television Programme Producers (AMPTPP) say that about 30 titles based on Mumbai attacks have already been registered by filmmakers; some of the titles include "26 Taj", "Operation 5 Star Mumbai" and "Bird's Point of View: Taj Terror".

Do you think think this is right?

I think it's fine, we have made movies on so many other terror events then why not this, the public should know what happened in these hotels!

While everything was unfolding and I was watching on TV the thought actually crossed my mind that the circumstances could make a good plot for a movie, however art imitates life so a movie would be made sooner or later.

But I think right now the public's emotions are too raw so any movie made on this would not necessarily be judged by it's film-making merits or lack off, but by the situation itself.

So to answer the question, yes a movie should be made but not right now. Let the dust settle first. There is actually a really good movie made based on the 911 attacks - Flight 93.

well not right now..maybe in a year or more .. 9/11 has had soo many movies made based on it...why not the Mumbai attacks? there is ntohing wrong about it..ppl have the right to know what went on..but atm, feelings and emotions are way too strong about the attack, and i think a movie about the attacks would only worsen those emotions..so now is not the right time for it, i believe
