Despite their rumoured rivalry, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's chance meeting at a studio exuded warmth
If the chance meeting between supposed arch rivals Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan on Wednesday (December 17,2008) is anything to go by, the much-hyped rivalry between the two superstars is over. Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan met accidentally at Mehboob Studio and bonded like long lost friends.
An eye witness informed us, "Aamir Khan was doing a photo-shoot for a brand at Mehboob Studios, where Shah Rukh was also present to promote Billo Barber. When the two actors met, they greeted each other with such warmth that it felt like it was a meeting between two long-lost friends."
Apparently Aamir and Shah Rukh chatted with each other at length. Director Farah Khan and photographer Avinash Gowariker were also present with the duo. So what was the conversation about? The eye witness added, "Aamir and Shah Rukh discussed films. They also spoke at length about body building.
Aamir eagerly shared details about how he went about building his body for Ghajini. The conversation was lively where both were seen laughing, joking and pulling each other's leg. There was not even a trace of bad blood and rivalry between them."
Recently Shah Rukh and Aamir's rivalry created headlines when Aamir's Ghajini look was sported by the staff of multiplexes where Shah Rukh's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi released. Reacting to Aamir's strategy for Ghajini, Shah Rukh had said "I am glad that Aamir uses my brand to promote his film.
But unfortunately for me I cannot use his brand to promote my film because I am the biggest brand. There's no bigger brand than me."
