I saw two episodes and now i'm really confused..Is she a punjabi hindu or is that supposed to be a fashion statement ??

Yes, I also have the same question bcs I though Punjabi married woman wore Sindoor too

Any help from sikhs here ?? I believe that sikh women don't wear sindoor. My mum sure doesnt. I thought only hindu women wore sindoor, punjabi hindu or otherwise.

I checked the web and a site said that some sikhs do wear sindoor. However i've never seen any sikh lady wearing sindoor ever. The newlyweds usually wear the ivory bangles right after marriage and usually rings because of western times.

Reminds me of the Sunny Deol movie where he's a sikh who marries a muslim girl and somehow sindoor ends up on her forehead 😆

I'm a Sikh. Sikh women dont wear Sindoor. its just a fashion statement. Nowadays, Some newly weds wear it according to their wish. But it is not recommended.

Im a sikh and I've seen a few sikh women wear sinndoor...i guess its their choice...my mom has some but she never wore it...apparently it was for the wedding day and she forgot to put it on😆...and she still has it...other than that i really dont know 😳

i think its just fashion statement these days......
and to make aware audience that she is married.....i believe....as there are many of us non punjabis...
who is hardly aware of such custom of Sikhs....
moreover if we see other characters...like Geet's parental side ladies they are not wearing it..even Kulwant's chachi also........
so it just to show the protagonist is married they might be using as highlighting thing..
