SCOOP! JASSI'S NEW LOOK: The picture on the right appears to have been shot in Mauritius (with Jassi's mentor Neena Gupta). Jassi is seen here in a white churidaar-kurta and sleek frame. Gone are the braces and heavy duty frames which she was famous for.

While some of her fans have been losing patience with Jassi's long awaited transformation from ugly duckling to golden swan, others are awaiting Monday's episode, when the transformation will happen.

Ever since Jassi was launched two years ago, her fans have been waiting for the makeover of the plain Jane into a beauty queen.

The fairy tale drama, building up to the moment when Jassi gets beauty to go with her brains, was expected to get the TRPs soaring.

Almost every television set in the country will be switched on to witness the transformation, put together by style diva Queenie Dhody, who does a makeover column for Mid Day every fortnight.

And the transformation in process

The stage was being set for Jassi's much talked about makeover. A gradual process, beginning with losing the unflattering fringe, the soda-bottle glasses, and finally, the braces. And her wardrobe was to become snazzier.

The channel was assured of weeks of packed homes, ready to watch the drama unfold.

But somehow, the pictures were leaked out. The rumours point to a rival channel having done it. There are also some whispers blaming Balaji Telefilms.

Well, whoever the culprit, Sony's biggest, most closely held secret, is now out!

Ahh the pic, another site fuzzed it up. Damn them. And the leak thing...I doubt that it was a leak from another party...it's called a PR stunt! And blaming competitors if not classy, is terribly easy.
