Theatre guru Barry John, who has taught acting to Shah Rukh Khan and Manoj Bajpai, is all set to make his acting debut with Amitabh Bachchan in Leena Yadav's Teen Patti. Our source from the production said, "Barry is currently shooting for the film in Pune. The theatre teacher was there to conduct a workshop with Amitabh Bachchan and some college students, who are part of the cast for Teen Patti. As expected, the students were in awe of Amitabh Bachchan. Also, the students were amateur actors. They had little idea or no idea about camera angles. That's when Barry briefed them about their role through a workshop after which things eased considerably. Because of Barry's assistance, the scenes between Amitabh and the students were well coordinated and Leena could quickly complete shooting for the scenes."
Now, Barry too is part of the film's cast. "Barry has faced the camera for Teen Patti too. He is playing brief role in the film," added our source. "Barry has been familiar with Amitabh Bachchan's style of acting. The Chopras had conducted a workshop during the making of Mohabattein. Amitabh and Barry have known each other since then," said our source. Barry's spokesperson confirmed the news and said, "Yes, Barry will be facing the camera for Teen Patti. But I cannot reveal anything about his role right now." |
