ABC passed on the show in 2004 after a pilot was produced. NBC has announced plans to air a version in the United States, hosted by Howie Mandel; the starting dates have been confirmed for the week of December 19 to 23 at 8pm (7pm Central). The grand prize on the U.S. Series is $1,000,000

thanks for sharing...yup...it's gonna start on NBC, but surprisingly just for a week or so...well, I guess NBC doesn't want to risk having to give away loads of money in case a lot of ppl start winning $1,000,000...although highly unlikely..
