Repeat of Zee Cine Stars ki Khoj?

I have been religiously readin the posts on this forum for SRGMP - as I have been an ardent fan of this show since its inception. As a matter of fact, this is the only other Zee program I have been addicted to after the Zee Cine Stars ki Khoj last year.

I just googled on what happened to those winners and realise that really, Zee is not doing anything as promised for winners Aditi and Sarvar. That brings me to wonder - is this going to be just another fluke? Is this just another way to increase ratings for Zee and collecting the revenues generated from the millions of votes?

Afterall - the people responsible for SRGMP are the same people who were behind Zee Cine Stars ki Khoj. The concept is the same - last year they brought in directors to give their two cents worth; this year they bring in music directors as the magical mentors.

After all the hoohaa, all the excitement, all the votes, the big stage performance, the promises - what do we viewers get?

Hi Sophia I myself have been curious on the same issue i.e. the situation on Aditi and Sarvar who were promised a movie at that particular time when they were declared the winners. One year down the line and we haven't seen this two individuals in any new releases let alone cameo roles in any recent movies. Is that what happens to the winners of such shows ? May be that is why the geniune talent is being voted of the out of the Saregamapa Challeng 2005 as all know at the end of the day the winners will never get far.

Though it would be interesting to find out about Aditi and Sarvar. Anyone with any info ?

Well from what I have been reading, they have been FINALLY signed by Shravan in his debut venture, "Ek Ladki Bholi Bhali Si".

But the point is - the promise made by Zee was all four finalists will be offered a film, with the winners in the lead. If this is how they keep their promise then I guess it really speaks volumes of their calibre as an organisation trying to "unleash the best talents".

On the other hand, I guess it's been a better run for those contestants who have been able to impress selected personalities despite not winning.

Take for example Amruta who was able to impress Ken Ghosh - apparently he's signed her for a forthcoming film and it was him to recommended her for 24-remake "Time Bomb".

Yuvika impressed Sathish Kaushik and he's promised her his forthcoming venture.

So if we look at these ratio, I guess Sharib's & Vinit's future are way brigher now that they have impressed members of the mentor panel. Wat say?

Thanks Sophiia for the update. This just validates what I was saying about the winners of the Show. Hope the same does not happen to the winners of Saregamapa.

Hmmmm.. Sarvar in Piya Kah Ghar...nope haven't seem him there may he made a guest appearnce of so.
