After breaking up with Sania Mirza, Shahid Kapur has found a new friend in Mubina Rattonsey

After the Shahid Kapur-Sania Mirza relationship fizzled, the actor has become quite close to Mubina Rattonsey. Mubina is the daughter-in-law of renowned producer Farouq Rattonsey. Shahid met Mubina on the sets of Vishal Bharadwaj's forthcoming film, Kaminay and the two have been close ever since. Mubina is also the film's executive producer.
However, a source from Kaminay insists that the two are more than just good friends and are in fact dating each other.
"Shahid has been close to Mubina from the day he met her. Mubina goes out of her way to take care of Shahid on the sets and is always around him. They hang out together on the sets. They also spend a lot of time in Shahid's van," said the source.
Interestingly, Shahid and Mubina are quite open about their relationship. They came together for the premiere of Santosh Sivan's Tahaan as Mubina had invited him.
"Their relationship is not hidden from anyone on the sets of Kaminay. Mubina took special care of Shahid after he broke off with Sania after her parents strictly objected to the relationship. That's when Shahid and Mubina started dating," added the source.
When contacted, Mubina said, "Do you know I am happily married for the past six years?"
When asked if she is dating Shahid, Mubina said, "This is absolutely crazy." She then disconnected the phone.
We sent a text message to Shahid but he didn't reply.
