Hey Jenny,
I love such lovely questions when we raise in our minds about love...there was a similar question as yours in dadhich's post...and so I will post my views as that one...here it goes:
What's important is
not just to live, but to share life;
not just to give, but to give one's self;
not just to love, but to live love;
not just to question, but to try to understand;
not just to accept, but to embody;
Angad – He learnt to live coz of his love and desired to share it, but distrust and misunderstanding walked in and he got swayed away. Now leave alone sharing life…he is onto destroying it. He has given himself to her for he thinks of nothing but her at all hours, whether tearing in love or raging with vengeance—love is visible! Not just to question, but to try to understand; not just to accept, but to embody;--this is where the problem currently lies in his frame of mind, for he question, but ddoesn't seek an honest reply from within. He has not accepted that maybe it's just not Kripa's fault alone, but that along the way he contributed to his own misery as well.
Prithvi - not just to live, but to share life; - he has learned to share life but has he given or taken? Let's focus how he actually got Kripa, through none other than deceit, framing, and lies by distancing her from real love of her life. He might have given himself completely to her, but has he given her the real truth of himself??? He breathes love no doubt, but isn't his love selfish for she is weeping and he doesn't reveal he is responsible for each tear-drop. His love is evident as well…people might say that one act of his should not refrain him from love, but even if we forgave what he did…is he realizing what he has done in all honesty? Not just to question, but to try to understand;
not just to accept, but to embody; -- same problem with him. Not willing to accept that Angad is settled in every breath of Kripa's and there is no room for that kind of love for anyone, not even her "husband."
What's important is
not so much to be present, as not to make one's self absent;
not so much to console, as to empathize;
not so much to win, as to go on fighting
Angad – Even though Kripa thought Angad wasn't part of her, she was self-deceived, for in his absence memories of his controlled her heart. Indeed this is where Prithvi could never make a space for himself, for Angad never emptied that home of her heart, so how could she allow Prithvi to settle? Whether be Angad's presence or absence…she couldn't let him leave for her conscience knew better!
Prithvi – however, he not only consoled Kripa, but empathizes with her at every point. Any time any one (Damini or Mishti) raises fingers at Kripa, he has always stood by her to give her support. Angad first consoled her, but how could he later coz he himself needed some dosage of it.
Both however have fought over her…Angad's fighting has taken the name of revenge and Prithvi's fighting in name of marriage. Neither have won, but they wish for Kripa's love (in case of Prithvi…it's more obvious, but we can't be oblivion as to why Angad repeatedly strikes at her dispositions).
What's important is
not to possess, but to set free;
not to compete, but to accompany;
not to criticize, but to give orientation;
not to be visible, but to be available;
not to arrive, but to continue on;
not to give solutions, but options;
not to long for the past, but to be able to rejoice in what has been
(transforming it into an eternal present,
where time and space melt into and sublimate one another).
all in all, not how much, but how deep.
to learn to love beyond what the heart imagines possible.
Angad – has had issues with: not to compete, but to accompany; not to be visible, but to be available; not to arrive, but to continue on; not to long for the past, but to be able to rejoice in what has been; -- As of now, he is literally competing with Kripa for he wishes to ruin her coz she ruined him by not placing trust earlier. He has moments where he feels and asks himself, yet doesn't provide the company they both truly desire. He is participating in widening the growing distance between them by fuming further hurting actions. He is visible, but is he there for her when she needs him? He keeps recalling the memories, but at her sight turns uncontrollable. The sad part is he tells her how much he "loved" her and if only she trusted him (as a solution), but is never willing to go beyond that thought of his. Kripa being unworthy of his love…you breathe love, but deny the essence of it within yourself. He lives in past, fights in present to conquer, and wants to live in defeated future (for how can he not be defeated if he destroys his soulmate).
Prithvi – this is where he gets a little higher footage, for he might have employed wrong ways to get his love, but he still accompanies her all the time and understands that he needs time. His shoulder has always been there for Kripa to rest when she feels lost, defeated, shattered…and Angad's bitterness has created more respect for Prithvi (not love) in Kripa's eyes. But, but, but… not to possess, but to set free – Prithvi claims to let Kripa be free, but he always internally wanted her! He could never possess her was his gravest fear, for he knew that he could not only not take Angad'd position, but never make a space for himself in that same way. If he had set Kripa free…none of this would have happened!
Angad – has shown powerful affects in these things - all in all, not how much, but how deep; to learn to love beyond what the heart imagines possible. – His love is deeper than the depths of ocean, greater than heights of skies, brighter than sun, more radiant than lightning bolt…u name it and we see it in his spirit for the way his heart wrenches for her is beyond imagination! His heart loves her so much and even he can't imagine it…we see how evident that was especially in the very last episode we saw!
Prithvi – loves her deeply, but is unaware of depths of love! He might love her more than anything, but does he love her more than himself? We might say yes to this...but think over again…why has he never told her what really happened? What is he afraid of?
Agreed that Prithvi's way was not correct and his love will never be sanctified for he has used blood-filled hands to bring Kripa to his base. But, to say he is not giving is also not totally correct…he has given his life towards her! I am supporting what I sense from his deep want for her, but please don't get me wrong. I am always A-K supporter, for soulmates are meant to be together!
But, in some ways I think Angad is committing as heinous act as Prithvi once did. Prithvi physically killed Josh for he couldn't stand his presence of re-uniting A-K, but what is Angad doing now…he is killing Mishti's love. Prithvi killed Josh physically, and Angad will be killing someone internally...he will kill her love soon and stab her feelings…crush her soul and tear it apart just coz he wanted to take revenge from Kripa. Isn't he creating another Angad or Kripa in Mishti? Is internal killing not as evident as physical death??? Can we approve that? A person who dies from outside is saved from pain, but a person who is dead while living…now isn't that fatal or worse than death???
So love…love…love!!! Angad or Prithvi?? Well what do you think now? Angad's love is beyond our thinking, and Prithvi' is within Kripa's boundary. Angad's is vengeful, and Prithvi's is supportive, Angad's is at depths and Prithvi's is at heights, Angad's is unable to locate and Prithvi's is searching, Angad's love is culpable now and Prithvi's love was blameworthy earlier…..
Now that we see both their love have different forces…it comes down to who they love…none other than Kripa sweetie! Since her heart chooses Angad…love is mutual...Angad's love has a higher standpoint! I rather see two people happy than three lives destroyed!!! What do you think?
-Love4ever!
