So now that the dreaded exam week came to an end, I am free to do nothing constructive and waste time just how I like it. before I do the feature for this week.
I just wanted to thank all me readers, I appreciate you guys leaving comments, it's very very encouraging and makes me want to get off my lazy butt and actually do this column. Thanks once again.
Ok enough with the ranting, lets move on to the best week of SaJan so far. alright you know the drill. the following are my top 5 moments in order. here goes.......
5) Gunjan Samrat ko dekh ke pagal. (Dec 8th)
After Sammy wows the audience with throws kisses to all the ladies (oh sammy u're such a flirt)...he makes his way straight to G. I mean he doesn't even care now adays if dia sees him or not. lol. So he turns on the flirt in full form and asks her how she thought his performance was. And just like every time sam gives her his full attention G is all mumbling and I don't blame the girl. how can she concentrate when he is so close and looking at her like that?????? I mean can anyone blame her? and G's outburst? 'Mein tumhain dekh rahi thi'😉 we know G and so does sammy. The only thing is he wanted to hear it from you. I mean the whole audience loves him but he only wants to know what G thought......Le Sigh! Then Sam goes to giver her some more confidence and please please notice when he says that all the people here are to watch you bec 'un ka dil dimaagh tumhari muthi mein hai" and I was like dude the way u r staring at her I don't know if u're talking about you or the other people?😆
Then OMG the flower oooooh the flower. Sammy stop making excuses ok. Oh this flower is to wish you luck blah blah just tell her that this flower is bec you LOVE HER. heheehe. lol. ok maybe not yet then. Anyway I also adored the whole forget the tent I will even live on the road with you. 😳 That was so adorable. Sam doesn't miss a chance to flirt with G. Now lets focus on the last part. I mean the way G solemnly declares that she won't let S down was soooo sweeeet. She trusts him and he trusts her and right there is the beginning of a beautiful relationship. AGREE??? and also I loved this scene bec it was G who kept calling Sam back. he kept leaving and she kept talking to him because she loooooooooves him. Sammy and Gunjan sitting in a tree....K-I-S.............sorry I got carried away again.
4) Gunjan...different from other girls? (dec 11th)
So there is Benji yapping away and then talking about how Sam tricked G and I loved the look on Sam's face "like shut up Benji" anyway benji contines to yammer and sam threatens to break him face but even that doesn't stop him. but when Sam turns to leave and sees G there...he almost gets a heart attack .....or a shock enough that causes his chair to flip over on the floor. And his first thought? OMG did she hear me? instead of turnning on his flirting if it was the case with Dia...he is just speechless.....has anyone ever seen Sam speechless?????NOpe me either. only bec G is the first girl to make him be all conflicted about his feelings. And he gets the G fever and starts to mumble out an explanation but G leaves and Sam is like OH NO. benji is right that why does he care so much if G actually heard? Only bec sam has never cared before and Sam's response......she is not like other girls'''''''OH MY HEART. He totally just admitted that she is different from all the other girls he knows as in she is the only one he actually cares about to follow her to apologize........we'll have to wait for Monday (however I have a feeling she didn't hear about the bet)
3)Sammy and Gunjan ......dost (....so far😉) (dec 10th)
So G is surronded by prob the same guys who were ready to throw tomatoes at him earlier on stage. lol. and some girls as well all congratulating her. And right there in the middle of it all Sam is standing next to her. It's like he's protecting her or something from all the other guys' attention. lol Anyway they walk outside and when sam's like thanks g is like "what? u brought me here to tell me this' Disappointed are we G? hehe. fortuantely for her sam has lots of dialogues planned. and he wants to thanks her for saving him from what the crowd was gonna do to him. And I love how he doesn't even ask why she wasn't there. he doesn't ask for the explanation she jst gives it to him herself. and he gets worried but sam being sam gets staright back to flirting. Oh dia the day sammy finds out u locked her up and is the day I will be clapping infront of the laptop. Also the whole closeup shameful advertsing was just a bit too much. if G and S weren't so cute I would have yelled out loud. (btw I loved the cut back and forth between G and Nupur's scenes). Does anyone notice how much G has opened up to sam now. She talks to him more than anyone else in the college almost as much as her sister. I loved the whole bye to guru samrat and hi to sam. Why? bec they both openly admit that it's not about the talent parade anymore. they are acknowledging that they like to spend time together bec they want to not bec they are building confidence or winning a bet. And the handshake at the end......................faints. I do beleive this is the first time sam has extended his hand as a friend to a girl and meant it. (candy doesn't count sam just uses her to sharpen his flirting skills)
2)Miley Jab Hum Tum (dec 9th)
Poor Poor Gunjan the whole time worried about what Sammy would be thinking about her. and meanwhile that DIA😡 is like 'she is a coward' notice how Sam is about to disagree. then when the constipated uday lets her out, I love how she runs totally runs bollywood style to meet her hero. Le double SIGH!!!!
There is sammy trying to save his face and G running running and more running. I think sam was more disapponited that G didn't keep her word to him, he didn't even remember the bet at this time. His face is just disappointed like someone he thought was something and she was not that person at all. Oh the heartbreak on his face. And the oh so ever polite G who is always careful was just bumping into people and didn't care bec she wanted to get to sammy. it was all just sooo just sooooo .....speechless.
And then the smile that comes on his face when he sees her , it says 'she didn't break her word to me, I wasn't wrong about her' and it's like all of a sudden he gets HIS confidence back. I love when he tries to get her on the stage he makes the whole thing about the two of THEM. it's not about the talent parade G has to sing bec She is HIS good friend, bec she will do anything for HIM and bec she made HIM a promise. And when he turns to go and she starts singing, he proves himself right bec She does it all for HIM. And then the stares......the guitar and G singing just for him...to him on the stage infront of everyone.....move over american Idol we have a new winner. And then the tune at the end and the Sam's look of I told you you would like this and G's look of I can't believe I did this and the audience think we can't beleive these 2 are not togther yet...( or maybe that was just me)😃 anyway that was the 2nd best scene of the week and now to the winner..............
1) bulao...bulao....bulao..... (dec 11th)
I love how sam's ears are like fine tuned to hear G's name. As soon as Uday mentions her a viola Sam is there asking what it;s all about. (bec he's her secret knight in shining armor.heheh) but there is something that can distract Sam from talking about G....it's seeing G herself. One look and sam forgets what he was talking about and who he was talking to and finds himself back to stalking her. Let's understand now that the bet is over and he does not need to do this but he does bec he wants to. and then after small talk with nupur .......there is something I noticed only on the 2nd viewing so go back and watch it if you missed it.........sam holdin Gunjan's books for her........OMG I was like what is sam holding and I was liek books???????what????and then went back to find out where they came from and G was holding them earlier....oh so cute. Why didn't they actually show this part????hmph! Then some more thankyous from G (note to G please stop saying thank you or I am gonna cry when you find out that it all started with a bet...dark clouds ahead.......) Meanwhile the best best part was sam saying 'miltey rehna" and then leaving but clearly he didn't want to leave and since he has been busy watching DDLj he goes SRk and palat palat palat simran.....i mean bulao bulao bulao G. and she does 👏.......LE sigh He wants her to call him back bec .............I can't form thoughts....speechless. lol.
Anyway he does go back and calls her babes which makes me grin like an idiot evertime he calls G that. bec she doesn't even mind it now. I mean if some other guy called her that I beleive she will be pissed off. Then she goes up to him and flly admits that talent parade be damned the only reason she sang was bec she didn't wanna see his pretty pretty face get hurt on the stage and ................bec she loves him. (ok so clearly she didn't say the last part but i am convinced she meant to)
And then then the almost hug. I have a theory. Sam advances bec he WANTS to hug her not bec he is used to hugging every girl but bec he wants to hug HER. she back away bec she is not used to getting hugs from guys and that is just her natural reponse. and after I think it's too late for her to hug him. Bt what killed me was the look on Sam's face and the disappoinment. as if he feels rejected that he is not good enogh for her. So he settles for a handshake but he tries to cover it up by telling her not to tell anyone else she refsed him. not bec he cares about his repuatation but sam being sam is not used to being rejected and ths covers it up with his jokes. No worries sam she is going to hug u very soon and by herself which will leave yoy speechless. I love how he stared after her when she left. and this was the #1 scene of the week for me.
OMG this got soooo long. (sorry for all the mistakes..don't have the energy to fix them) Sigh. Hope you guys liked it. I do my scenes in order of my preference and it's hard to choose what the best scene of the column is when they are all so good. Anyway please let me know if you agree of disagree with the order and also what your #1 SaJan moment of the week was...............Signing off
