If you do not like the movie you are free to say but in a appropiate way no ' its a c**p movie
I would be grateful if you guys can pm me or say when replying any ideas because otherwise i will end up being really biased and end up picking movies i like.
If someone would like to do this thread they can pm me 😛

Brief summary of the story (well try..)
As the tagline goes 'Journey from engagement to marriage'. Rajshri movie, set in small town. It starts off with poonam (Amrita R) and her family, she lives with her chacha since shes younger. Her chachis had hatred for her simple because shes lighter coloured (wont say pretty because her sisters not exactly ugly). Anyways a family friend comes to see the family and brings the rishta of prem who is from a rich family. Prems dad explains to him why he thinks he should get married and he agrees to see the poonam. Then they meet and both agree, then get engagged. From there onwards the growth of the relationship is shown, they go to bhopal to house they have their to spend time. When they come back show prem progressing in his career thanks to poonam pushing him. Basically just spending time together and getting closer. Poonams chachi at one point refuses to participate in the wedding jealous of poonam and all that shes getting etc as said before. On the night before the wedding fire breaks out and poonam gets burnt trying to save her sister. Prem comes to the hospital to see her and marries here there. I am going to post the link for this because i cannot do it justice.

1.What is your favourite scenes?
2.What do you think of some of the points films made aside from the wedding about boys family, dowry, colour do you think the film did it well
3.Favourite thing about the film(Aside from couples chemistry lol)
4.Do you think the film potrayed the journey as it puts it from engagement to marriage well for a arranged marriage?

Yiipppeee!! Thanks for choosing Vivah. ⭐️

My favorite scenes.. when they all go to Sam Sarovar and decide to sleep in the same house and Prem is waiting for Poonam down the stairs. 😳 He takes the book and the water from her and then how he says, "tumhare chacha chachi mere chacha chachi nahin hai kya." 😳 I fell in love with Shahid during this movie. 😆😆 I also love the scene during the song where Poonam thinks he's going to pick her up and take her into the water too and she gets embarrassed after he says he only came to pick up the towel. 😳😳 soooo cutee!! I love all the scenes where she's waiting eagerly for his phone calls and when she upsets him, she calls him back. She tells him she has faith in him and he does well in his first big project. I love the ending too, it made me cry when she was taken to the hospital.

Favorite thing about the movie.. the couple's chemistry is definitely #1, sorry. 😆😆 They are sooo cute together. Overall, everyone loves each other so much and Prem's character just gives me hope! Maybe there's someone just like him.. delusional, I know. 😆😆 I like how we get to see Prem's and Poonam's relationship, but also Sunil's and bhabi ji's (sorry, forgot her name). They make a really cute couple too. I loved their rain dance. 😳

Did the movie portray the journey well? I can't really say much on this matter, but it seems like it. They were shy in their first meeting and slowly they start getting comfortable and get to know each other.

The boy's family is usually not like that and they made some good points on the dowry thing too. Even though in this case, Prem's family didn't want any, Chacha ji was still selling everything for the big wedding. I guess he felt like he still had to. It's not a realistic movie, like a lot of people have pointed out, but I still love it.

Ok i loved this movie!!!! Though about it for days and days after i saw it.

My favorite scenes include all the ones from Som Sarovar, especially the scene on the roof and the one where poonam becomes shy because she thinks prem is about to pick her up and take her in the water. other scenes i liked were the part where prem is coming back on the plane and he seems to see poonam in every girl he sees on the plane. another part i loved was where prem put the sindoor on poonam while she was in the hospital (very emotional and touching scene!)

i've enjoyed all the rajshri films i scene. really truly, they are classics. what i love about them in general that they're so family-oriented and clean. basically, anyone can see the movie. i love watching all these movies with my family.

About the journey from engagement to marriage, i think the movie portrayed it well. although i'm not married, most of my cousins had arranged marriages and their attitudes were like the characters of the movie (shyness at first, but soon, even before marriage, closeness developed).

Last but not least, i completely fell in love with shahid as prem in the movie. i want to marry a guy just as faithful, intelligent, cute, and caring as him😳😳😳.

Very boring, regressive, throw back to the 50s kind of a movie.
Don't shoot me.....I have something nice to say as well.😆
I like the fact that for the most part Rajshree remains true to what they value.......(most part because Main prem ki deewani hoon was a disastrous try at Indian-modern khichdi). Unlike the likes of Karan Johar and Yash Chopra who make tall claims about Indian values and yet objectify women to the max every chance they get, Rajshree movies although regressive focus on the rural Indianess that is still alive. They showcase it with so much sincerety that you almost feel bad for hating their movies😆.
Rajshree movies do not try to cover the Indianess with western packaging. Again, I like the sincerety with which they present their movies, I like the fact that they still live under the illusion that characters like Prem exist.
With all said and done, I still DO NOT like their movies because it ain't reality for me. 😃

1.What is your favourite scenes?
the bit wen shahid keeps on calling amrita nd says i went to meeting then i went to the meeting again(the bit before he goes to japan for a deal)
2.What do you think of some of the points films made aside from the wedding about boys family, dowry, colour do you think the film did it well
that if u love a person than except them the way they r, not to just leave than wen they r in trouble, be by their side wen they need u the most nd also that everyone is equat pretty or ugly
3.Favourite thing about the film(Aside from couples chemistry lol)
the story is gd nd there is a lot of reality in it (dowry, wen girls get burnt no one marries them etc), its not that realistic but some point they get through. it also gives me hope that sum one lyk prem will be out there😆
it shows wat is true love
4.Do you think the film potrayed the journey as it puts it from engagement to marriage well for a arranged marriage?
yh i guess so as i said it was that realistic but had sum issues that happen in real life as well(dowry). i thought it was more about love nd always being with the person wen they need u the most
but it potrayed it well coz it was an arranged marriage so yh!
