Hussain heads to Bollywood
After creating quite a fan following for himself on television, Hussain Khuwajirwala is getting set for his big screen debut. The actor has signed a comedy titled But Adi Loves Sanjana Yaar which will mark his Bollywood debut.
"Hussain has been a very popular name ever since his Kumkum days. The offers were always there but after he won the dance reality show, Nach Baliye 2, a few years back the offers just picked up. Initially he was slightly resistant to be in Bollywood but since he and Anuj (Saxena) are very good friends from his Kumkum days he has agreed to atleast give an audition," says a source.
"The auditions for the lead actress are presently on and there are chances that a new face will be launched along side Hussai in the film. The film also marks the directorial debut of actor Vivek Mushran who's started his career in Subhash Ghai's Saudagar in 1991," adds the source.
When contacted Hussain acknowledged his Bollywood venture.
"I can't deny this offer but still it's in the preliminary stages. I know Anuj very well but right now we are just talking," says Hussain.
After popular TV stars like Rajeev Khandelwal in Aamir and Prachi Desai in Rock On! it is time for yet another TV heart throb to make it to the big screen.
