It's finally here. (almost) It's bitter sweet for me. Sweet because the year truly has been fantastic. I was blessed with lots of new things. And bitter because it's ending. Hopefully next year will be just as good.

This month is one of my most favorite months. Not that i ignore my religion every other month, it's just in this month I really find myself closer to God. I feel peaceful and secure. I find myself to be very grateful for all the things he has blessed me with. And I feel like crying from the heart when I hear the phrase

"Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik. Labbaik, La Shareek Laka, Labbaik. Innal Hamdah, Wan Nematah, Laka wal Mulk, La Shareek Laka"

"Here I am at Thy service O Lord, here I am. Here I am at Thy service and Thou hast no partners. Thine alone is All Praise and All Bounty, and Thine alone is The Sovereignty. Thou hast no partners."

I wish I was one of the millions who went to hajj this year. But that's ok. inshallah I will go soon. (take baji with me)

Now to the main point!!!!

Eid Mubarak to everyone! Hope all of us have an excellent year next year when all our dreams come true!!!!! I am very hopeful about 2009 coz I have my heart set on something now.......I just need the strength to get it and I am going to work for it..........I want it to be the same for you all too.....except i dunt say 2008 has been a very gud year coz of all the tragedies.................that left such impressions on us.........i want next year to be good and should bring a positive wave of hope to everyone!

Hope 2008 was great year for everyone, and that 2009 brings even more joys and blessings for everyone.

2008 was overall a very interesting year with the up and downs I've had, but in the end, I would still like to say it was a good year. Personally, I fear what 2009 may bring for my family and I with economy being well....you know! As long as we are together though, I know we'll make it through any obstacle!
