Whatever the reason for Mamiji being insecure of Ragini marrying into Rajvanch's i do hope the creatives show that Mamiji does get over her insecurities and gives her consent for R R marriage.

I think she will end up giving her consent because at times parents do bow down to their kids wishes. But don't know whether her insecurities will go or not. Feel sad for mami shes going to be in a tough position now.

Justin the reason i said i would like Mamiji to show her consent was that Sadi / Aalekh marriage took place without the consent of Sharma Family.

The marriage did have Mamaji's and family consent but when they found out about Aalekh Mamaji wanted Sadi to walk away and she did not.

So in this marriage would like to see both families there and happy, instead of the atmosphere being tensed and sad.

I don't think some of you understood my point. I know that Mamiji's fears aren't baseless. I've seen the ridicule that Ragini has gone through and I completely understand Mamiji.

My entire point was that Mamiji should try to take the good out of such a tough situation because Mamaji had accepted her even though his mother had turned down Mamiji's rishta and she has lead a happy life with a loving husband, no? And she didn't know that Mamaji would love her to this extent while they got married as they were pretty much strangers whereas with Ragini and Ranvir, it's become quite obvious just how much he loves Ragini after all that he's done for her family. Putting aside his own pain, he has dealt with theirs and tried to make them happy and saved their family's honor.

I just feel like all these insecurities that Mamiji has, however justified, add on to Ragini and kill her self esteem. How can she ever feel good about herself when her mom is also comparing her to Sadhana?

And most importantly, people will say whatever crap they have to say because that's what people do so even if Ragini marries Shishir, she will deal with such crap so isn't it better for her to marry the man that she loves who loves her back just as much, if not more? The (emotional) support that Ranvir can give Ragini, Shishir can't. Ragini loves Ranvir and she can't ever be truly happy with Shishir so Mamiji will have accomplished nothing by marrying Ragini to Shishir as Ragini still won't be completely happy whereas I believe with Ranvir she can be because as he said "main tumhe itna pyaar doonga tumhare saare ghao bar doonga" and I believe him.

I feel as though if Ranvir tells Ragini she is beautiful then she will believe it. At this point, I don't think anyone else has that advantage.

I don't know if you guys remember, but when Ragini and Ranvir first met, some guys had said stuff about Ragini's color in comparison to Sadhana and Ranvir had taken care of them and afterwards he had made Ragini laugh. I'm sure that at that point she had forgotten what those guys said. I feel Ranvir will always protect her and make her happy.

I totally agree. I do remember that first scene when they met very well. Ranvir had stood up for her so nicely then! Then ofcourse he just had to go through his 'confused' phase in order to frustrate all of us to the max😆😆

But now, a totally new Ranvir has risen from the ashes of his 'confusion' and this Ranvir truly deserves Ragini.

And I especially agree with you on the point that if Ranvir at this point tells Ragini how beautiful she is, she will truly believe him.

We already got a bit of an indication of this thru the last two epis....in Ragi's dream sequence, she does imagine Ranvir telling her that she is looking beautiful. Contrast that to her reaction to when Shishir tells her that she is looking beautiful....she only managed a forced half-smile.

^Exactly! Imagine someone with the low self esteem that Ragini has imagining another man, one she loves, telling her she looks beautiful! I thought it was brilliant move by the creatives to show just how much faith Ragini has in her love and how Ranvir makes her feel. He makes her feel alive (remember when Ranvir was in his confusion state, she said something inside her had died), makes her feel loved and beautiful.

She opened her heart to Mamiji in one of the episodes. She told her mom that something inside her has died when she thought Ranvir rejected her. How can that same mother just ignore that comment and be all for Shishir? I understand Mamiji's fears, however, I do not understand how she can overlook the love Ranvir and Ragini have and push the Shishir marriage. Ragini will never be truly happy with Shishir.
