I think Mamiji is angry because she's a stubborn old goat who can't see past color. No offense. I understand she's seen Ragini go through so much, but isn't she doing the same thing (putting down a darker complexion) by not letting Ragini be with someone she loves? If it wasn't obvious before, it is CLEARLY obvious now how much Ranvir loves Ragini. He went against his family to save her brother. He didn't ask for anything in return and left the sagaai without anything. It's obvious that throughout their life together Ranvir will stand up for Ragini and I believe the happiness Ragini will get with him, she won't with anyone else and isn't that what Mamiji wants; Ragini's happiness?

I'm sure Mamiji thinks that Satyen and Ambika are respectful people who would never hurt their daughter. It's only Vasu and Ranvir can handle Vasu for sure. He's proven that by going against the case Vasu filed and proving her wrong.

I'd really love to see Indrajit step up more now. Perhaps even play a vital role in getting Ranvir and Ragini together. I hope everyone in the house goes against Vasu. She deserves far worse.

I don't think Shishir will make her understand because the promo shows Ragini in a different outfit and Mamiji is mad.

Mamiji is being biased herself when it comes to color which is just as bad as Vasu even if their reasons are different.

Rahm i dont know if u have seen Bidaai from the start or no.
But Mamiji herself has gone thru so much cause she had dark color and has seen Ragini suffer due to her dark color. That now she wants her daughter to be happy.

She wants someone to accept Ragini for who she is and Shishir did.

She has the fear and feeling of a mother for a daughter, and i would not blame her, as nothing has been done from the Rajvanch side to lay her fears aside, in fact just the opposite has happened with Vasu calling Ragini Kali and Bdsurat.

So i feel i can understand Mamiji's feelings and her wanting to protect Ragini from facing more humiliation.

I've seen Bidaai from the beginning, but I still believe that Mamiji is giving color too much importance.

Mamiji herself was accepted by Mamaji even though his mother said crap and left. He then came back and married her. He gave her all the love that she could ever want, right?

Why would Ranvir not do that? He's proven himself now, especially now, by going against his mother to have Vinu be released and for what? He didn't say give me Ragini. He asked for nothing! He just wanted their family's honor to be saved and Ragini's happiness. Shishir can never love Ragini that much. No one can.

Mamiji has seen how much Ragini suffers because of her love for Ranvir. Isn't that worse? Doesn't Mamiji realize that Ranvir will always protect her. As I said, he's proven himself! It's high time she forgets about this color nonsense and realizes that it's love and only love that supports a person throughout their life and make them happy.

well said rahm..... asolutely true..... mamiji now needs to understand that there something called love and thats the most important thing in a relationship... even after being insulted by mamiji ranvir still fought for vinu and proved that he can do anything and everything possible for ragini's happiness..... now even mamaji has understood that ranvir truly loves ragini from the core of his heart and i think he would play a vital role in uniting RagVir.......... its just mamiji who can turn out to be a raaste ka kaanta for this relationship....

I don't think Mamiji's fears are baseless. I know the story revolves around color and understandably Mamiji and Ragini have faced a lot, but Mamiji has gotten a positive experience out of it. She has a loving husband. Ranvir loves Ragini and Ragini loves Ranvir. Marrying her to Shishir might make her life easier, but not happy. She can only be truly happy with Ranvir and Mamiji knows that. As far as comparisons go, I don't think anyone in the Rajvanch house will say anything aside from Vasu. Naveen and Avni can't say anything now anyways.

I'm not blasting Mamiji. I just think that she's thinking with her own experiences and emotions and not really looking at the bigger picture. Ragini can't forget Ranvir.

I also believe that Shishir can't love Ragini as much as Ranvir as Ragini won't open her heart to him.. not completely anyways so he can't possible love her as much without fully knowing her and what not. I'm not good at putting this into words, but I believe that love is at it's greatest when both people invovled feel the same way.

I do understand Mamiji's fears but I remember her telling Nani that she dreads Ragini living with Sadhna which might cause Ragini to be ill treated in comparison(all this happened even before Vasu came to know about RagVir and created a mess). I feel Mamiji's issue has more to do with Sadhna's fair complexion than Ragini's dark complexion because of which we think she is wrong. If her problem was about Ragini facing the ridicule alone we would have understood Mamiji and supported her but that is not the case, she seems to be jealous of all that Sadhna has which Ragini does not. Honestly, Ragini's inferiority and insecurity about her complexion are because of her mother, she never allowed herself or her daughter to accept that she is beautiful and that complexion is not at all an issue- it is high time she understood that no one can disrespect you unless you disrespect yourself and explains the same to Ragini.

It has been shown in the serial that Ragini has been ridiculed by many and compared to Sadhna and that what has given rise to Mamaji's fears. And i dont think her fears are baseless
If you remember at the dance competition shown in the first few episodes women were talking bad about Ragini and giving Sadhna a front space in the dance cause she is fair and beautiful. Then all the proposals that were rejected by the boys side.
Then even when Ragini went to meet Ranvir at the Taj passerby boys ridiculed Ragini, even when Sadhna was not there.
Mamiji's fear is that Sadhna being in the same house as Ragini, comparisions are bound to happen and due to color difference Ragini will be put down.

^Pinky exactly what I wanted to say. Mamiji is behaving exactly like an average mother would. Kavya I also agree with u that raginis inferiority and insecurity are to an extent due to her mom. I guess mamiji doesn't realise that everytime she worries she brings ragi down but wouldn't most mothers get sad for their daughters. I really felt bad for ragi when mamiji tried to commit suicide though I get what mamiji was feeling too.
